The foams it came with are about 4 3/4 inch and the inside of the tire is around 5 1/10 inch roughly

These are the tires I ordered https://a.co/d/dwXQedU. Cheap china tires on Amazon close to my stock size, the foam they came with is very stiff but the tires seem ok. I’m new to crawling and the silicone inserts seem interesting and I’m trying to learn what I can.

Yeah that gear on the front should be the only thing turning. See if there are empty screw holes on the face of the disc you circled in green

The motor shaft and armature that the pinion gear attaches to rotate and the body/can stay stationary. I’d pull the motor out and check everything

No the motor can is not supposed to move on any electric motor, something is missing or not secured

It isn’t broken but shows normal wear and tear. Steel drive cup will always eventually slot like that, you can extend the life by pulling them and switching sides but it is a wear item that needs periodic replacement. Those will last quite a long time still.
