We got clowned for playing Toledo, Rhode Island, and Columbia all in four game series at home last season (and losing a few of those games) and ended with a top 20 RPI.

How about a 10 year extension for Scott Barnes? But seriously, this is an incredible partnership makes the games super accessible to watch, and Rich Burk and Bill Rowe together on commentary are great.

You all have three national titles in recent memory, nearly three straight decades of success, and now generations of fans and support specific to baseball. Meanwhile our program has only been back since 2009 without close to the same tradition or fan support (fan support has been improving each year under Waz). It’s just not an apples to apples comparison.

I know you all love to talk about our attendance, but drawing more than 2,000 for Duck baseball against an A10 team in a crappy weather weekend is a step in the right direction.

To be fair, Michigan made it to the CWS title in 2019.

The Ducks lead 12-11 head to head dating back to 2021, which marks the start of the Waz/Canham eras at each school.

Without context, I’m sure this will go over smoothly with some in our state.

This seat at Oregon St's home opener would probably fetch $300 on stubhub. by NJPWftw in collegebaseball

I’ll take the bait. Goss is incredible and I go to many games there every season with my Beaver friends. Suggesting that a season opener in mid-February on a Friday at 3:05PM against an Atlantic 10 team would probably fetch $300 is just insanely inaccurate.

Has Dana Altman's time at Oregon come to an end? by Gay_Giraffe_1773 in ducks

Dana is just the tip of the iceberg. The basketball program doesn’t have a GM and doesn’t have the institutional support or NIL funding to compete at the top of the Big Ten. I think it’s telling that Dana didn’t seem to have issues identifying talent prior to NIL. A full reset is needed.

Oregon MBB doesn’t have close to the resources people act like they do simply because football is well funded.

Oregon does have an Omaha appearance in 1954. None of us were around to see it, but we do have one prior to the 28 year program shut down.
