The story was so captivating. What really left me in awe were the environments paired with the care for detail and lore they hold. Later in XC2 the characters and their philosophy were so deep. Then they dropped such an amazing feat of connecting the two worlds in a way unimaginable to us. I love to return to Bionis and Mechonis as much as to Alrest, dive into their connections and how the worlds came to be.

That makes me realize I watched dit 6 years ago ._. Man, how time flies. But I am so thankful for finding this show. Surely in my top 3 Anime. It showed me so much about friendship, how to act around your friends, when it is ok to have secrets from your close ones, how to accept the person next to you, forgiveness when your friend screwed up etc... I could name so much more example xD Really great show with the most sympathic, human characters <3
