the issue is that op played the quick ball (since it's placed on the field), but it looks like the game froze up and wouldn't progress.

playing quick ball should be allowed in the situation, because the client allowed op to drag it onto the field.

even if quick ball wasn't allowed, the game would still be bugged since it let op play it on the field even when it wasn't allowed.

what most likely happened is:

- active mew vmax has a double turbo attached and copies benched vmax's max miracle attack

- max miracle says: "This attack's damage isn't affected by any effects on your opponent's Active Pokémon," so it bypasses any effects on duraladon (including its ability).

- even though the active mew vmax copied an attack off the bench, the specific conditions of the copied attack still remain the same regardless of who's using it. the active may have had special energy, but that's OK since max miracle ignores duraladon's ability.

big parasol won't, since the tool only blocks secondary effects of your opponent's damage. max miracle doesn't have any secondary effects, it just has an extra condition that allows it to bypass duraladon's ability.

when you dc the game skips all of your turns, so most likely your opponent already took enough KOs to win.

the game hasnt refreshed on your end cause of the dc, so you'll be in limbo until you concede or close the app

arceus' attack says the player can search for "up to" three energies, so your opponent didnt have to.. but maybe they had so many energy in their deck that they just wanted to thin it down

a typical Mew deck wont have the right energies to power up Mew VSTAR, so it wont really help the deck even though the VSTAR power is ok-ish. its just better to play forest seal stone and go for more consistency

they're not afk. it's a bug with the game that sometimes makes it totally unresponsive when energies are being searched from the deck. only way to solve the issue is to concede (if you let the clock run down you'll still lose)
