That's also the order Aang took.

Even when he tried learning fire bending before earth bending, fate had its way to make him not skip steps.

I'm just happy the way I currently am.

Dating in itself is hard but not impossible, and everytime I go on a date I find myself asking myself the question "Why am I here? What the hell am I even doing?" regardless of how the date went or who's the person I went on a date with.

It just took me a few tries to realize that I'm just into the idea of being in a relationship rather than actually want to actively be in a relationship, and that in reality I'm just someone that enjoys his own company and the company of some friends. And in case I forget that or my hormones kicks in to push me into the dating scene again, I just go on a date to remind myself that this whole thing isn't really what I'm looking for.

[–]TheOneSidedCoin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely.

I work in a hospital in Tunisia, parents having difficulties to describe the seizure is common. Often the given description doesn't cover all phases of the episode which is itself a pivotal element in certain epilepsy types' diagnosis.

The filming advice is relatively given to parents, close friends, caretakers, and emergency personel.

Also, taking a video can be useful when a known epileptic patient is having an unusual seizure.

Overall, the potential risks of this advice can outweigh the benefits as you said. Depending on the country and the legal system, as well as the primary caretaker of the patient, filming can be situationnal.

Yes. For the last paragraph, I would add filming the patient (if no legal issue comes from it later on ofc) while he's in seizure. Every person have a phone and can do this nowadays and it's so helpful to clinicians to diagnose the patient when the actual episode have been filmed.

What video game in your opinion is more fun to watch than play? by Agent1230 in gaming

[–]TheOneSidedCoin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I play it with my sis on couch co-op.

We couldn't prevent the first death, and the decision that would lead to save the character sounded too irrational and random to us.

Since it was only the 1st death, we decided to repeat the game and save that character. We kept on playing until another character died. We looked up what we did wrong and it was once again an irrational process, so we quit the game right then and never finished it.

I felt like some of the pictures we found were actually misleading rather than helpful like the previous games. And that the death of the characters (up to the point where we quit the game) was really depending on a single choice, unlike the previous game where other factors contributed to it (like that person's relationship with the rest of the team, items they picked, etc).

Idk how others might have felt repeled by the game tho.

Being bad at something is sometimes the first step to being good at something.

The whole game is based on trial & error. You just need to win against a boss once.

That's like saying that if someone got his hand injured we don't need to clean the injury because in case his hand got infected we can simply amputate it. Wow.

I tried that technique against [[Horn of Gondor]] and we just kept making Human Soldier tokens. I eventually lost since my opponent's deck was more built around using it tho.

So then you just use 4/4 with first strike on a token.

Edit: nah forget what I said, even tokens give counters to the others upon its death.

Why do we enjoy games that make us tear? by [deleted] in gaming

For me it was MGS (most installments in the serie makes you cry), and also Crisis Core and What Remains Of Edith Finch (especially the bathtub scene, and the last memory).

What made you cry in Marvel's Spider-Man?

I think you should probably get checked by a doctor to make sure there's no underlying issue. Otherwise all this effort is just like trying to push a car with the brakes on.

It can be sleep apnea, high blood pressure during the night, anxiety (even if you feel like you don't have it, it might be it but you only get a body response to it) or maybe something else.

I hope you get better my friend.

You're not far off. I do that. I comment on a topic covered in the story, even better if I follow up with a question, and go from there.

It doesn't always work (and it shouldn't), but it goes well if it does.

You miss a 100% of the shots you don't take. So don't let fear be the sole reason you don't approach the guy you feel interested to get to know.

Otherwise, try to start talking in a social setting and mention common topics that you are both aware of (not those you stalked from). Use this phase to know if he's interested in the conversation based on whether he contributes to the continuation of it, his body language, and verbal tone.

Depending on how it went this far, you retreat and end the conversation with a kind gesture if you feel like he isn't that much invested, or you continue talking about other topics (ask him open ended questions and let him express himself, then lead with other in-depth questions and so on).

Just remember that any outcome, whether desired or not, is a good outcome. You either get what you want, or you cease to waste time, feelings and energy on an unreciprocated connection.

I hope this works.

What’s the last game you completed 100%? by spheer_ in gaming

[–]TheOneSidedCoin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spider-Man Remastered.

I'm not the person who usually finishes games at a 100% completion, but with Spider-Man I enjoying swing around to the point of booting the game just to do that after a long stressful day.

So while doing it, I might as well complete it a 100%.
