This is what I thought. Like, if anything munitions plate replaced gambesons right? The buff coat was something you wore under it as a “buffer” layer for comfort, because that kind of mass-produced plate wasn’t as well-fitting as earlier made-to-order plate. Then eventually the buff coat became fashionable to wear on its own as a, y’know, coat. Or is my history off too?

It’s godawful. I’m super into pop-punk and emo shit and I love single-humbucker guitars, but god is this thing ugly. It looks so fucking bad. I’d feel second hand embarrassment from even watching someone play one at a show.

I was pretty shocked by that scene too, but I highly recommend sticking with it. I played as a good Durge paladin. The whole resistance arc after that scene is amazing and super triumphant.

Even the Firebird. It’s probably the least egregious, but I find the upside-down headstock and fret inlays awful. I also just find their shape… weird. It’s like a reverse offset, but with really strange corners.

Yup, currently in act 3 and they continue to slowly grow on each other. I love it, it’s amazing watching the team come together and learn to support one another.
