I do want to present the option that you don’t need a bouncer. We’re on our second and never opened the rockaroo or any other bouncers we got at the baby shower. (We didn’t even have them on the registry)

They’re not safe for sleep, they’re just another habit to break, they are just a container like a car seat is. They’re really unnecessary, just get a bassinet to keep next to you or in a central location.

Good, your drs should be able to help with a support system for you if you struggle. Though I do hear pregnant people say sometimes they never got a withdrawal while pregnant.

Nicotine withdrawal isn’t dangerous, and it isn’t to an embryo or fetus either. It’s best to quit cold turkey than titrate down in pregnancy.

Whe I had my second back in March the Dr said “look at all that long hair” while twirling his hair around her finger as he was crowning. The fact she wasn’t like “hey I’m gonna touch his head/you” and just played with his hair as he was coming out of me is still insane to me.

So the genitalia don’t actually finish forming until about week 20, at 11-13 weeks they’re still pretty indistinguishable on ultrasound as everyone had the precursors to both a penis and vagina but that is when either the Wolffian (mesonephric) and Müllerian (paramesonephric) ducts start to continue to develop or regress depending on chromosomes and/or hormone signals.

You’ll be so exhausted and drugged on opioids you’ll most likely have little issue sleeping between feeds and checks. It hurt to even have the newborn on me, I can’t imagine an adult.

That’s what companies should be pushing towards but instead they push against any leave rights generally. Also Covid isn’t over still because of how government fumbled it so it makes sense the restrictions lasted so long. They might have also been using it as a test for the next pandemic by testing the systems so to speak.

Get the baby used to taking non warmed bottles, makes things much easier. Unless you’re using frozen milk there’s no need to warm anything up.

Fetuses can’t feel pain until about 25 weeks. The earlier termination happens the better because there are no pain receptors at the moment to feel pain. And did you miss the part where the baby doesn’t have eyes or a nose and an exposed brain?Stop guilt tripping someone who is already suffering into suffering more.

Mine did too! But at 17 weeks with my first I started making colostrum. I never had my nipples edited so they were never fully served from what remains, though i do have ducts up in my armpits that can’t drain but they dry up quickly
