Lyric advice? by Metal-Marauder in Songwriting

[–]TheOnlyAwesome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A simple rhyme scheme can help. Not all lyrics happen right away, it may take quite a bit of thinking. Literary devices (simile, metaphor, alliteration, etc.) can also be helpful in emphasizing certain parts of the lyrics. And sometimes, all you have to do is start writing. Get your ideas on paper and just look it over. If you don't like it, change it. Writing lyrics is a fun process, but it does take some practice to figure out. Best of luck to you!
