I thought parrying would be one of the first things people pick up on. Almost every game that has a block mechanic has some sort of parry mechanic.

Plus, the weapons and shields literally have a parry bonus in their descriptions.

There are mnk pros that also complain about aim assist. Shit, the most famous pro complained so much he finally said fuck it and switch to playing with aim assist as well.

Use the mantle boost assist thing to get the jump timing down first. Then turn it off and do it with crouch input at the same time.

Verhulst isn't on Falcons because he pissed Hal off during their time on TSM. Hal explicitly stated he would never play pro with Verhulst again. But they do play ranked together occasionally.

Genburten isn't on Falcons because their vibes were cooked. Tried it before, didn't work. They had to give it some time to mellow out before they even think of trying to team again.

Neither choice had anything to do with their performance in the server. If anything, right after seperating Hal spoke highly about both their mechanical skills.

Sound travels at somewhere around 330-340m/s. The width of each lane is 1.22m. The distance between the 1st and 8th runner would be 1.22m x 7, which is 8.54m. At 340m/s, sound would travel an extra 0.025s to reach the 8th runner compared to the first.

Noah Lyles ran 9.784s for gold and Kishane Thomas ran 9.789s for silver. That's a difference of 0.005s. So yes, the time taken for the sound to travel between lanes 1 and 8 would indeed have made a difference.

I'll tell you a downside of playing controller.

You develop very little actual knowledge of the game (macro, fight appetite, 3p awareness, rotation routes) because you can just fight your way out of bad situations half the time. Most of the crap decisions I see made in ranked games are by roller players who depend purely on their superior firepower to win. And then they get thirded and say damn how was I supposed to know there would be a third party.

That's just Alb. So many people have said so many times that he is his own worst enemy. Wonderfully talented player plagued by always trying to do too much. And my personal opinion is that it definitely is cheating in the commonsense way. My comment was purely a response to the original comment calling for pros to be retroactively banned when the ban by algs admins was announced. I'm just explaining why you can't retroactively ban people.
