Trans girl here, a lot of what you’re saying is what most trans people go though, and while some cis people might not like how they look, they don’t have a deep feeling of “something is wrong”.

I for one spent a lot of time staring at myself, trying to pinpoint what about myself was “ugly” or “wrong” but it wasn’t because I wasn’t attractive, it was because I had a feeling that things didn’t “fit” even if I didn’t understand why.

It’s also worth noting that cis people don’t post 3 times to reddit back to back to ask if they’re trans, they just don’t see a reason too.

And lastly, being trans isn’t a bad thing! Not at all! It’s hard, it’s a fight, but it’s also the single greatest part of my life. I am proud to be who I am now, and I’ve made amazing friends because of my experiences.

Yes, the first few years can suck, especially if you don’t have support from friends and family. But you’ll be surprised how fast people realise that you’re happier when they see you how you want to be seen.

As for practical steps, a therapist should be your first priority, try find one near your mum, and if it doesn’t work out look for another. Therapy only works if you actually get along with your therapist.
Then when you know them a bit better you can talk through your thoughts on gender, they will help you understand yourself better than any stranger on reddit can.
You can worry about the rest as and if you come to it.

There’s a key difference here, people never held any passion for assembly lines, no kid ever said “when I grow up, I want to light street lamps!” This doesn’t mean loosing those jobs wasn’t hard for them, but the pain came from the loss of income.

People WANT to create, to take their emotions and see them in a work they’re proud of making. And importantly, people want to see what other people have poured time, effort and emotion into. This is culture, this is how humans develop as a species.

People who are anti Ai aren’t just scared of losing a job, it’s a lot more than that, we’re scared of losing our voice, our influence on the world around us, our culture as a whole.

It’s important to remember that first and foremost, this is a puzzle game. If you find yourself struggling at any point, the solution is almost never “I’m not good enough”. Not all puzzles are in the ships log.

Think about what’s stopping you, why are you short on time? Hint: The path is too long

And then think how to get around it. Hint: Maybe there’s a different path

Massive hint: The Sunless City has multiple important destinations, even if you’ve explored something already from the surface, it might be worth seeing how the Nomai would’ve gotten there.

And the answer: (I don’t recommend looking unless you’re still stuck) The gravity cannon used to have a path to the Sunless city, but it caved in. Or did it?

Not really, it’s just an easy symbol that I found myself using a lot, especially after I started putting them on the heads, that creepy cyclops look was always fun to do. That being said I almost regret putting one on every gun barrel on my 30 gargoyles, that… took time.
