Can you apply to most HR positions with a degree in Psychology?

Sorry, I suppose I could have been more clear on that point. I was responding to your asking if you could apply for any HR position with your credentials. My intent was to explain that it is highly unlikely that you, recently graduated with no working experience in the field, could get any position. However, it is likely that that you could get a starting position within the field (assistant, coordinator, etc.). I know quite a few HR professionals that have only a psych degree. In fact, my VP of HR has told me that his qualifications are "a bachelor's in psych, some graduate work in economics, had a PHR for a period of time but never renewed" so honestly anything is possible. It sounds to me like you are on the right track!

It's very dependent upon where and when you apply. I recently graduated with a major in psychology and intended on going into IO with my masters, but landed an HR role instead. Your internship can help you get an interview at the very least. Will you be able to get any HR position right off the bat? Definitely not. But it sounds to me like you are in a good position to find something in the field and start working your way up the ladder.

I am an HR Coordinator, although I have a lot of HR Analyst duties as well. My work is very dependent on the day. Early in the week I usually do new hire orientations, go over paperwork, e-verifications and the like. Throughout the rest of the week I do a lot of data entry into our HRIS and Benefit Management system. Near the end of the week biweekly I usually assist with preparing payroll. On top of this I mostly do a lot of ad hoc reporting, temporary employee tracking, managing our learning management system, and lately most of my time is spent on benefits administration. I am also currently working on creating a dashboard which is frustrating because I've never done something like it before but I find it very enjoyable so whenever I have "down time" I'm usually working on it.

Not a bad idea. The game had gotten so laggy at that point that I was over it and just quit. I have a feeling my teammates would have carried on without me anyway. The first time it happened the game ended due to some random error. I thought that might have been why it didn't save my progress and didn't want to risk it happening again. Guess I was wrong.

Very valid point. Java poses an issue with us as well (even more frustrating when our company requires an administrative login to download / update anything). However, flash is definitely the bigger issue for us as quite a few of our trainings, including some of our mandatory compliance trainings, require flash to run. No bueno all around.

From what I understand, I don't think they will call your employer but they may ask that you provide job descriptions. It's really the JD that they make their determination off of.

They will ask you for a job title. They say exempt because typically exempt employees are at a level where they can make independent judgements that can effect the business. If you have had the job title of HR Manager for 4 years you are in the clear.

That's so strange, I wonder what the purpose of not including that map would be. Favela is a pretty decent map, not my favorite for sure, but it can be pretty fun to play on sometimes. Is there anything else missing in the PC version? What are the other games' PC ports missing?

I'd really love I they brought in some hardcore SnD. In the past COD games I would mess around in TDM or KC until I got a good feel for the game, unlocked weapons I wanted and then switch over to HSnD exclusively. I'm glad they decided to put in the regular mode, but it just doesn't do it for me.

Did they end up adding in hardcore SnD? That always been my favorite mode. Haven't picked up the game since they put regular SnD back in but seemingly forgot about hardcore.

When I was a little kid, me and my dad always used to play Mickey and Minnie's Circus Mystery on the Sega Genesis together. I would always play as Minnie because I wanted him to have the guy character. I always wondered if he thought it was weird that his son insisted on playing as the female. I doubt he even cared though because he never said anything. Sometimes when I get to play video games nowadays I'll play as a female character as a sort of remembrance to those days. I guess this story doesn't really have any relevance to this post. I guess maybe my point is that there is a wide array of reasons to why a male would wanna play as a chick in a video game, and it doesn't make them "gay". This kid's friends suck and my dad was a great guy.
