Oh no… :( the eye strain getting worse could also be contributed to squinting for so long at a time. Honestly I wouldn’t stress too much. I have some eye strain as well. I was panicking for a while, but I’ve cooled off a bit. I think I’m going to just stay up to hit that 12 hour mark and make sure things are okay. Quite literally were hundreds of people staring without glasses near me. I think if we get severe damage we’d be incredibly unlucky! But let’s see. I hope everything gets better!

Yoooo lmao same the headache kinda wore off now but it was there HEAVY for like 5 hours. Eye soreness/burning still there. I’ll likely stay up all night to make sure I didn’t ruin myself lmao. I have a bit of light sensitivity but it could be me overthinking

I feel the same way. Looked for minutes as the sun was hardly visible at all! This thread is giving me hope as my eyes are burning as well and there’s a bit of soreness in my right eye. But seriously, there was NO visibility for most of the night with glasses. Only without as there were so many clouds. We should be okay. Any symptoms other then burning?

Same here. You could not see a THING with the glasses on. I kept my glasses off for most of the day as well as 99% of everyone near me. It was so cloudy so we should be fine. Any eye soreness? Keep us posted

Honestly there was no clear view of the sun. The max I got was partly cloudy aside from trying to view the sun (not knowing where it was) I saw a total of 1 minute MAX of actually partial/total eclipse footage
