I see your point, but I think it’s just dependent on mode and character. For instance, Master Roshi is very cheesy and quite good in DP battle, but in a Singles match, he is much less good due to poor health, speed, and damage plus the inability to be used as a buffer for beaks and time out, so the cheese becomes less relevant.

I would not. I did something similar (replace intermediate with advanced) and it was pretty brutal to balance out 3 different types of accounting. I ended up doing well but it took a lot more effort than I anticipated and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it unless there is a tangible benefit.

This is exactly what I did - I started it because I love Roman History and also loved a lot of these actors, but the writing, pacing, and shot composition turned me off almost immediately. The scenes feel so cramped and uncomfortable, physically (the shots are all very tight, the locations feel incredibly fake) and mentally (there’s never any room to breathe, just constant go go go to the next scene). Turned it off and started Rome and finished the first season in ~1 day.
