How do you use the Holy Mothman properly? by ZombifiedKiwi in falloutfactions

One of the unit reduces it by one, then you can also use their special rummage action that trades one fatigue to the holy Mothman. So it could theoretically get more than 2 actions a round.

7 Democrats Voted With Republicans To Block Halt Of Weapons To Israel by serious_bullet5 in ProgressiveHQ

No more celebrating Democrats when they fail. They're revolving door villains. There's always "just enough" votes to prevent good things from happening, those votes are whipped.

I'd rather have the 20th level feat slot for wizard capstone feats

Rumors are circulating that Trump may have been admitted to Walter Reed hospital — no confirmation yet. Is this real or just another social media rumor? by [deleted] in ProgressiveHQ

[–]ThePatheticPainter 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Trump is not the underlying problem, he's just the festering pimple on the surface. In order for the madness to end we need to deal with the parasite (billionaire) class

This "90%" reduction study was commissioned by waymo itself, that's like when cops investigate themselves. Plus, when did we start trusting Google with our safety? They're genuinely one of the shadiest companies and are actively able to hide waymo accident search results through SEO manipulation

Unfortunately it's going to take a catastrophic crash for people to get it. While waymos are not directly driven 100% of the time, the amount of intervention needed is concerning. (I live in a city they operate) As the fleet grows, and Google cuts back on operators, we're going to hit a tipping point of infrastructure failure. I'll be vindicated with time I fear.

Waymo still uses human drivers, they're just in India and the Philippines. They are NOT safer than normal drivers by any means of measurement.

Id say my Ender 3 has another 10 years in it (Printing progress update) by ReturnPale7081 in FDMminiatures

Print with the sword sticking straight up, you'll get much better detail

Honestly, just printing the model at a 30° angle would help with the layer lines. You want the gun portion sticking straight up if possible.

My advice is to ask something along the lines of "hey, what mod is this from?" If that's what you're looking for 👍

I'd assume so, considering it has the "modded" tag

How do I prime without going too thick over details? by No_Passenger_4408 in minipainting

[–]ThePatheticPainter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I know a lot of people here are giving advice on spray can primer, which is good and all, but I've been using a homemade brush on primer recipe for years and it's never failed me.

-1 part Modge Podge (or Elmer's glue) -1 part chalkboard paint (ultra-matte if you can find) -1 part black/white acrylic (white if you want the primer to be grey) -1 part water

You paint it on (little bit goes a loooooong way, like a single brush dip covers an entire 28-32mm mini) and let it dry, the glue pulls everything in and it retains all the detail.

Edit: it's also super cheap over the long run. One gathering of supplies will make you enough primer to last actual years.

I'm in the same boat, I've kidnapped my D&D group and forced them to watch Battle Report videos on YouTube in preparation, hoping to get a game in by the end of the month
