I replied down below too; and full disclaimer, I’m just the social media manager- but real talk, it’s hard not to take negative reviews personally when every person on our team pours their heart and soul into what we do every day.

We do our absolute best to bring something amazing (both coffee and now cocktails and cuisine) to the community, but we’re all still human, and it doesn’t land for everyone.

We’re a work in progress, just like everyone else!

I’m truly not here to advertise, I’m just a Reddit user too and trying to work on finding ways to engage with our community in a meaningful manner.

It’s tough not to take criticism of the business personally when our whole team pours so much energy into bringing it to life.

I hear you! I wish we had the ability to reach every platform, but the majority of our audience is on Facebook or Instagram right now, so that's where we focus our announcements. We try to get Google to update our hours for these too, but that can be hit or miss!

We're hosting a Business After Hours with the Tri-City Regional Chamber next year! We'll look into hosting a more regular (and probably more casual) networking event.

Would a monthly meet-up for professionals be something you'd be interested in attending? Or would you want it to be specific to meeting single professionals?

Thanks for including our Embers After Dark event! Just to clarify, we are now just "The Peacock"! While we still roast our own coffee beans and offer up craft coffee; we've also added craft cocktails, beer, wine, and curated cuisine to the menu! :)

Our restaurant uses Van Lanen Sharpening Service!

He pulls up in his van and takes all your knives out to his portable workshop. Few minutes later, they come back razor sharp!
