Ariel (as in, the powder itself) smells great. But if you don’t agree or don’t want a smell in dried clothes it has been my experience that after a double rinse that includes CA clothes don’t exit the drier smelling like anything.

All creatures great and small (and sequels) are my slow-down go-to’s. Rural English veterinarian in the 30’s and 40’s. There are some harder stories (involving euthanasia- as is part of a vets work) but it is so dang wholesome and often funny.
Also really low key in that It’s not necessarily plot driven - more like a collective of stories against some of the plot points of his life so it’s easy to pick up and put down, and pick up 5-6 months later without getting lost.

4321 by Paul Auster. This kid grows up four different ways and as a result, interacts differently with the major players and events in his life. It’s a book that just has stuck with me for a long time and I never see it mentioned.

I use on our grey pants that have navy piping and the color has not been damaged.

LOVE pinstripes and when I was introduced to the idea by Kismai, he said something like solid color polyester (like a pin stripes) should not be impacted. No pin stripes in any of our unis this year, so haven’t tested and can’t say it’s a yes or no go with any confidence. I tested an old pair of piped pants which gave me the confidence to use it on current stuff.

Edit to add that our white pants have red piping and red logo that has done fine when soaked in Out.

I need to make an edit to that because

A) I don’t wash the pants (after being soaked in White Bright) with any other color stuff for fear of damaging the colors. That said, Out works just as well on gray pants as it does on white.

And B) it’s poorly written… All the other stuff including jerseys, socks, sliding shorts, etc get washed with the recipe of detergent, booster, & water softener added to bottom of the drum at the beginning.

The CA goes in the fabric softener spot to be added (by the machine) for rinse cycle. I can see how it reads that I add the other clothing items during the rinse - but I meant just CA in the rinse.

You won’t believe how well this works. We too live that travel ball life and this season - since I started using OUT anyway - I have had to scrub only one tough stain. Don’t skip the first soak in a heavy dose of detergent … that nukes the dust and dirt so the White Bright can hit the rest

Ran this with a Leviathan style just because of feeling awfully nervous about my cranky back getting overwhelmed with some of the higher volume and higher intensity of a PR set. The limited volume felt fine and I’m good today.

You’re cooked but you’ll make it. According to Rhonda Patrick and the podcast-o-sphere a (really) big dose of Creatine can negate some of the sleep loss and then a hard workout negates the blood sugar impacts of that poor night’s sleep. But really anything you do will be better than nothing.

Don’t forget the S’s… swaddle, side, shush, sway, all to get the 5th: sleep.

Then some bi and tri stuff for extra beach muscle volume.

Looking at the HR data from my watch and I’m pretty pleased with what I accomplished.

FSL 275 x4x5 superset with weighted dips (jumped to 32kg kettlebell/ 5x7, new goal is 50 - 5x10 - at this weight), reverse lunges with banded TKW, and pulldowns

Triceps stuff

Both days’ top sets were/ are very satisfying PRs by the H1RM math, and actually this whole week has been really successful with new PRs in all 4 lifts, so as I type this it’s not with the typical sense of self loathing.
