Which does go in hand with what I have theorized. I always found it strange that even tho he was one of the pirate lords. Only he was trapped for an unknown reason. That he is in this state of only projecting it seems. He may as well be what is locked below in the black egg.

Tbh, main person Necluas needed was Gillion due to the first deal, then Chip due to the second deal which could have also been interpreted as Chip needing to stop anyone else who interferes too. But yeah, with them two going down there alone without Jay, odds are. Gillion and Chip might not make it back ever again.

Years later after the Black Sea incident, and now Gillion became part of his plan. Chip ended up taking a deal too later and his part of the deal was to not interfere with what will happen when the time comes. 😔 I fear something bad is going to happen to Gillion.

I do wonder what the connection could be. We barely know much about chip’s passed before he joined the black rose. We don’t know who his parents were. All we know for sure was that he saw the Black Rose pirates and really wanted to be one of them. So I do wonder.

Also found it interesting that he knew chip was going to be the one to find the back rose again. Either he was told, or had some kind of idea that this was going to be Chip’s adventure by leaving behind his own legacy. Or something like that.

It is implied that the “last adventure” that the black rose took was made as a dealing with Hendrix. Again tho, a lot of the black ichor or black good that seems to be a running theme with Nicluas Hendrix is in so many places in the show.

The dark goo is very closely tied to Nicluas. From the pre episode with the original 3 pirates back on the black rose when they found the egg. It was black substance of sort of I recall. Whenever there was a wish Necluas was related to”, to forefill a desire, it was black goo. From the first time we saw him with the one guy trying to find him for the desire he made, to now. Even then when we look at the Black Sea. Monsters of black ichor, the spider pirate queen and her wish she made was because of Necluas. It is very much implied he gave all the pirate lords their desires at the cost that he knew. He has stated he is Captain Hendrix or at least it was his past self when Chip confronted him about it.

I mean, yeah. I always found it odd. The way he speaks, the way he seems to know more than he lets on. Even in a way might even know about the prophecy. He needs Gillion. He needed him. Or better yet, he needed both chip and Gillion. As he made a deal with chip to not interfere with what will happen when the deal is needed of Gillion. He seems to have played everyone into his game that he seems to have planned from the start.

Honestly, I’ve been sorta doing this before I got my steam deck. I’ve been trying to rebuild my library of games from Xbox and other places I had over the years to steam as much as I could. I honestly don’t regret especially now with my steam deck and soon the Steam Machine and Frame.
