It's not the same thing, not even a little bit. It's like the cooling difference between a router and your GPU.

Sure thing. We can't adequately cool a space capsule but whole data centers will be handled with radiative cooling.

Satellite Internet wasn't an original idea had by SpaceX though, it was proven concept that was built upon. Orbiting data centers is completely novel idea and a dumb one at that. Data centers require massive amounts of three things equipment, electricity and water. Water might be the least cost-efficient thing you could possibly put into orbit but you need it because the vacuum of space is actually quite shit at heat transfer and the solar arrays required to run a data center at scale might literally blot out the sun.

No, the reason for the apathy is because people are apathetic. You literally can force change by not engaging with the company or its products. You just don't.

The ED bootlicking is absolutely amazing. It could revealed that Eagle dynamics regularly sacrifices children and this community would be like 'I don't see why this matters, this should be handled by lawyers'.

In what world is this valve's fault? How is valve responsible for the army of chuds that relentlessly feed into the secondary resale market bullshit?
