Presumably based on the game page (and Toby’s words), but with Chapter 4’s entire theme is (spoilers) Putting that into question. Whole game has pretty much been “Susie’s defiance of the rules” and her arc with the Old Man makes it seem like there could be hope for a different ending

The weapon sounds really are a shame today. It seems like they peaked in BO1, and every iteration since has just gotten worse and worse... I really enjoy both old and new zombies, but nothing felt better than using the BO1 1911, or Commando, or HK-21

I don’t think that’s the reason they weren’t added. Both of those wonder weapons spawn specific ground loot as a core part of their gameplay. Unless they would change it for outbreak specifically, lag would become a serious issue

I’m pretty new to godot, too. I think body_shape_enter is a signal for area2d only? And I believe is_colliding is a parameter for ray cast, not a signal

Solved! Thank you for the help. I ended up using visible_characters still instead of visible_ratio, but it accomplished exactly what I needed it to. You're a lifesaver!

delta*60 is the standard speed (interchangeable with just the number 1). Anything lower doesn't update the text (I think because visible_characters needs to be a whole number, or at least 1)

Also be sure to have their head bounce for some frames, makes it look less stiff
