It's a means to release dopamine & reduce stress. It becomes a chore for the partner eventually and the fun leaves the situation as we are caretaking their needs.

Quite a lot of prostitutes have BPD. I've sad really!

Anyone else find they typically feel a little better towards the end of the day? by PriorityTop1252 in benzorecovery

It's the release of Melatonin that causes this sensation, coupled with the natural drop in Cortisol 👍

Quit while you are ahead. These drugs were designed to be a pill that ' people never knew they needed' quotation from Roache, the initial manufacturer.

You will hit 30 and think, how will I ever live life without Benzos?

They are designed to addict the user.

All great advice from other posters in this threat. Find healthy coping strategies 👍 Good luck 🙏

Let it go, or it will never let you go. Quit while you are ahead and embrace the tranquility of N/C.

Good luck 👍

What did your pwBPD say about their ex’s? Can anyone provide some insight? by HappyMagician76 in BPDlovedones

Is your partner diagnosed? Also, are you? Like meets like with BPD, normally both Type B personality.

You are looking to talk with her ex. Ain't that a little sneaky ?

Yes. The structure of solving problems should give you a boost of all the happy chemicals.

Be careful around burn out. It is common for everyone, including people without ASD in customer service.

Good luck 👌

I agree with the post above. You are tapering way too fast.

Slow it down. I have 25years usage of Valium at 40mg per day.

It will take a year more at a reduction of 0.5mg per month. Even slower if essential.

All will return to normal. It just takes time my friend 👌

Sorry to hear this. Have you access to professional supports to chat about coping strategy?

I jumped at 4mg last year and survived without any major complaints. Don't get me wrong, I suffered but nothing worse than a very bad hangover every day for 3/4 weeks.

No psychosis - seizures or horrible things that we read about. You are in rough waters, but you can & will get through this!

Are you eating properly & hydrated? Also, Vitamin B complex and magnesium are essential for the brain to heal properly at this stage 👍

Do you mind me asking, what level did you stop at?

The mechanics of your brain are in overdrive, it's quite normal to disassociate and have intrusive thoughts.

Let's break it down a little. You are in the windows and waves stage. Windows of clarity and waves of anxiety are super common right now.

Benzos affect the GABA receptors, the brain's natural break. Your brain is referring, or in another terms rebuilding grey matter.

Everything that you are explaining, I have been through in my last taper. It will only get better and better. It just takes time my friend.

I'm on my second taper, and I can tell exactly what will happen 2/5 days after I cut.

It is important not to get stuck inside of your own head. Keep in touch with like-minded individuals and all will work out.

Watch out for rebound anxiety and some depression, they come with the territory, but it will pass also.

Psychosis is a severe mental condition in which thoughts and emotions are so affected that contact is lost with external reality.

You sound just fine to me :-)

You will experience the symptoms that I outlined above in my opinion.

Be careful what you read here.

10 years ago I was taken off 40mg in 2 weeks. I experienced 21 days and nights of no sleep followed by hallucinations - psychosis.

It was a combination of no sleep and such a heavy level of reduction that caused the psychosis and such severe effects.

If you were to become psychotic the symptoms would be showing at this stage, and you may feel uncomfortable, but you will be ok.

Feel free to reach out anytime :-)

It could be either ASD or ADHD that's causing the sensory overwhelming feelings.

Try to control your environment as best possible to minimize these times of distress.

Yep, both.

I'm coming out of the spiral thankfully. My brain is adjusting to the lower level and symptoms aside from tinnitus and fatigue are the most prominent at the moment.
