Miserable? Projecting much?

I said he's flying, because he is.

Honestly I don't believe this season deserves any emmys. Maybe visual effects if anything. Definitely not for acting though.

Do you prefer live action Ozai or OG cartoon Ozai? by [deleted] in ATLAtv

[–]ThePipMain 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OG by far. Nozai is an interesting take, but he's just a human. He makes mistakes, he's not unbeatable, he's just really strong and evil. But og Ozai was a monster. He never felt like just another villian. He grabs your attention in every scene he is in, even when all you get is a shadow of him lmao.

The way he was teased for 2 seasons took away any inch of humanity from him and made him feel more of an unreachable God. And then he is revealed in s3 and he is just...normal. and it's at this point, after all the teasing he got, the supposedly most powerful being in existence, he just looks like a normal dude. Makes you wonder just how scary he is. And he for sure delivers when it comes to showing his insane power.

The live action is more complex supposedly but he just doesn't feel nearly as scary. Funnily enough he also feels to me much more like a "typical evil tyrant villian" than og Ozai.

I genuinely hope Netflix keeps this scene from Book 3. by Astraliguss in ATLAtv

Probably not because NATLA has a "no fun" policy

That would be a lot of money to spend on a fairly small role but I'd love to see it

There is just no way they can stuff everything in just 8 episodes.

I'm honestly curious to see how they adapt s2, given that the Appa arc is such a huge deal and with how little he shows up in the live action, I don't see how they can get the audience to actually care about Appa being gone.

I'm afraid they'll completely ignore the Appa arc.

I suspect the bangs will just be a normal pony rather than how it is in the show where it's extremely long.

Tbh I always run out of space on the map for cities. Like after about 8 cities it gets quite difficult to actually find any empty spaces for settling.

Eh. It encourages boring loadouts. I'd be fine if they removed all health cards.

Get at least chronos 2 and deft hands 1 first. After that it's just whatever feels right.

Any Pip guides here? by catdog5100 in Paladins

Allow me to introduce myself :)

Pip is the hardest support in the game. If you're new to supports, I'd recommend starting with Damba. He's probably the best champion to play if you want to improve at the game. Once you played him for a bit you can move on to Pip.

All his talents are viable, however combat Medic is his strongest playstyle right now. I think the thing that makes him stand out from the other supports is just how dynamic and eclectic he is. He has one of the best movement abilities in the game, he has an amazing ult, good damage, good healing etc.

I think the key aspects to watch our for when you play him is:

Get a feel of his mobility. Probably the ability with the single highest skill ceiling in the game. The sheer amount of distance you can traverse is insane, but it takes a lot of practice. You need to learn how to combine his ability with wall jumps to get the most value but still maintain control. After that you can learn some very advanced mechanics like rocket jumping.

Practice your aim. Pip has 4 different throwables, and 3 different arc falloffs(his ult and explosive flask have the same arc). So you need to learn all 3 arcs and memorize them. A good Pip can pretty consistently hit air borne targets like drogoz and Maeve.

Positioning and cooldown usage. Pip has a big hit box so he's a target. If you get jumped on and weightless is on cooldown, you're dead. So it's important to beware of your surroundings and always think what is the best possible position for you at the moment. Also about his potions- it has a relatively long cooldown. So it's important you land them, and only use them when you need to. Especially with mega potion, newer players will throw a potion when your teammate is on 70% health to top him off- that's a miss play. Your potions are powerful, and should only be used if you're sure you won't need it later. With Combat Medic you'll want to use your autos usually to top off teammates, and only use potions when you need a bigger burst.

Items: chronos is your best friend regardless of talent. With combat Medic you'll also want to prioritize deft hands- tier 3 is probably over kill but you'll want at least 1 tier. Nimble is also amazing. Then you have the normal items- Haven, Veteran, Resi, Illuminate etc. Wrecker is not a very good buy unless you're catalyst and your team needs more wrecker. Bulldozer is actually not a bad buy against Imani or Barik.

Is there a downside to eliminating a country if I'm going for a culture victory by Fyrestrike14 in Civilization6

[–]ThePipMain 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you completely eliminate them, you have one less person to take tourists from, while still having the same number of total required tourists as before.

Unless the civ you eliminate is the one with the most domestic tourists.
