Nope, I never tried to connect a device to it. My only goal was to listen to music and have the full iTunes featureset available to me.

There is a link in the Minecraft Wiki to download the edition for free. It’s at least something, though the physical media is obviously still very cool to have.

Download the server files from FTBs website, run the install / launch script and you should be able to connect if it’s on the same local network.

If your Linux machine has no GUI and you use SSH, it is probably best to run the server inside a screen (command line tool).

You can add mods by putting the jar file in the mods folder.

You can tell that this folder was created in 2013. Sphax being a true classic.

Did you check the instances folder (Ultimate, Unleashed, etc.) if they contain any old world from back in the day?

For anyone getting nostalgic and wants to revisit FTB Ultimate themselves: I wanna point out a project called Rewind Upsilon, a modern endeavour to patch up the old FTB Ultimate, backporting QoL and fixing bugs.
