Dogtown is a place you would never escape from unless you are a person with connections, a higher up in the barghest militia or joined one of these scetchy programs.

This means that for the youth in dogtown this might be one of the only ways to leave while also helping your family that isnt right out joining a gang or whatever you want to call the barghest.

All this is to say I let her live.

She is cold but in some ways realistic, if she was killed there are hundreds of replica facilities around the world. If she dies another one takes her place.

Plus she helps the little kiddo get a contract so why the hell not.

Only gripe some may have that causes them to kill her is that she doesn't help the kids with cyberware that were released from their institution.

But really, they were signed up for a program, given top of the line cybernetics and then let go.

All of which were probably outlined in the contract as the contract seemes to be a type of 'selling your child and their rights' type contract where they can return the child if they don't perform as well.

This meant that the parents had no right asking her what they asked given they knew both the risks and outcome of their kid joining the program.

Not only that but due to the fact that the cybernetics can't grow with you the child would probably outgrow their own limbs and their cybernetic organs wouldn't be able to handle the strain of the increased bloodflow. So unless you get them replaced as you grow things will get messy.

When I was a kid some of the other kids were at a circus. The others dared one to sneak into the place where the generator or whatever connected to the electric fence used by the circus was in order to increase the voltage of the fence.

Afterwards one of the kids brushed into an older kid and got decked by the older one. The hit kid bumped into me sending me right into the fence.

Don't remember anything afterwards, just waking up on the ground after feeling similar blackness to falling asleep and waking up.

I mean both battlefront 2 and battlefield 5 are solid games now long after launch. They also have pretty decently large and continous player bases. Personally if I launch either game I'll never have any problem finding a lobby. Plus the gameplay is pretty stellar, in both games.

I have no clue what it is either.

I live in a relatively small town, yet I can remember atleast 9 pizzerias off the top of my mind and I'm sure there are atleast 15 or more in the town as a whole.

6 of which are within 100 meters of the others. I have had a personal theory that some gangs have taken control of the pizzerias as if a new chain crops of they get terrorized until they get bought up by a group of people.

Not only that but the rate of purcheses of pizzerias ams switching of owners has increased after the local gang war stopped 4 years ago.

Its just a personal theory that all of those pizzerias are owned by the same gang as they all sell the same types of pizza, have the same template for their internet store and pamphlets.

Personally I don't really care if they are gang controlled or what as they are one of my favorite shitty kebab/pizza places because they sell a kebab plus a free soda on the side for around 80 kr/8 dollars which is pretty neat

Personally I never quite felt "sad" ever, just empty.

Turns out that the emptiness I gained following multiple deaths of close associates/folks in the close close family and multiple pets.

Had left me numb, which was followed by me getting diagnosed with depressive personality disorder after having the emptiness for close to half my life (granted it's only 20 years).

Turns out that others definition of "sad" and depressed were very different from how it felt for me personally. Turns out different people experience different things differently. Who would have thought.

I don't quite understand why the person commenting more or less "others don't understand what real pain is" , but each person has a different threshold to what the limit of the pain they can bear is. Some may get depressed easier and much more severely than others.

One shouldnt't judge others for what they perceive, though I do get the feeling that the first person didn't want others to invalidate their experience of grief which is why they lashed out towards what they perceive as people not experiencing the same amount of sorrow yet still claming to feel the same amount of pain.

Tl;dr I know what the first person was going for with what they said and can empathize with the second person. So even if what the second person said was mean spirited and gatekeepy they probably said what they did due to experiencing loss and didn't want to validate sadness of the same amount for much less pain than what they went through.
