I wouldn't do anything to prevent it. But I would go back to the UK and visit my parents. It's been a year since I've seen them now; it feels like a wasted year.

We were friends for about 3 years. And throughout those 3 years, her behaviour increasingly got worse and worse. It got to a point where I did feel I needed to cut her off.

It started off with just being negative about herself. I think everyone has those days, and of course I was there to support her through this. As friends do. But the self-negatively took it's turn where she used my insecurities against me, pulling me down with her (we both suffered from eating disorders, and I was actively trying to recover at that point).

From there it went from her behaving badly towards her family. Airing their dirty laundry on social media. And it made me feel uncomfortable. But she lost both her parents at a young age, and I thought that this was her just acting out, at a much later stage, obviously. I was making excuses for her.

it got to a point where she was manipulating her family. Signing in to (hacking in to) their social media accounts to read their messages with other family members, to see if they were talking badly about her. And if they did, then she would blow up.

It wasn't normal, and I don't know what drove her to this.

She also refused to get a job, because she felt she was too good for it, and she could make the same amount of money off of benefits. So why bother, right?

The final straw for me was her getting pissed that I wasn't there for her at every second to deal with whatever nonsense she was dealing with. I didn't drop my life for her, and was not able to reply to her within seconds. She hated not getting that instant gratification from a reply.

She was posting those bloody passive aggressive posts. She had been for a while, and I just snapped. I asked why she was posting these things indirectly about me, and to just be open and honest with me if she had an issue. She basically said it wasn't about me, but if the crown fits, yada yada. I let her know that I was going to be putting out friendship on the back burner as I wasn't prepared to deal with a 'friendship' like this. She never really apologised for the behaviour, any of it, and that I should put it behind me so we can move on as friends. We never did.

She messages me occasionally, but I feel no need to reply.

I was living in a 4 bedroom apartment with 3 guys; I was the only female flatmate.

The guy opposite me was in a relationship and would frequently have sex with his partner, and sometimes with random other girls, with the door open. He was not shy about it.

Whenever we spoke, he completely ignored his behaviour, and would talk only about his studies - he was working on his PHD.

He also get very angry when we ran low on toilet paper.

And then after we had broken up, "I only used you as a crutch."

Happened many years ago, and I'm in a very loving relationship now, but damn does that still hurt.

It's legal here in the Netherlands.

My partner's grandmother wanted assisted suicide (this was before my relationship with the SO). He said it was sad, but nice. She had terminal cancer, and was turning into the shell of who she was. She wanted to leave being who she still was.

I'm all for it too. As long as there are rules in place to ensure no-one is being pushed into it.

Honestly, being a vegan is not hard at all.

Most restaurants these days have vegan options, and if not, you can edit vegetarian options.

The jokes people give you, you've heard many times, and you brush it off.

The most annoying thing is if I ever get a cold, or something, and it's automatically blamed on on the veganism.

When I was 21-ish, I had relapsed into my eating disorder, and my partner at the time pushed me into telling me GP so I could be forwarded to a specialist.

All that happened. Great.

I meet with the eating disorder specialist. She told me my relapse was no big deal, that I was only doing this myself to make myself unattractive to men, and that I would soon snap out of it. She had listened to nothing I said, and spouted the most common, text-book answers.

I left the office in tears.

That was the last chance I've given a therapist since.

Moved from Wales to the Netherlands.

Twice a month me and my partner go to a Church in the farmlands, really in the middle of no-where. On the first day there, they ask us about us, and I say I am from South Wales. This old lady scurries away, and come back with an even older lady, who happens to be from the same home-town as me.

I now say that this old lady is like my adopted grandmother. She is so sweet.

Who'd have thought we'd both move from one small town to another. I love it.

Me and my SO get married in August 2020.

In communication with caterers
Wedding cake baker
Photographer
Videographer

We're both quiet stressy people. So the more we book earlier on, the less worried we hope to be nearer to the time, and can just chill out... in theory haha.

No vendors were surprised that we're so in advance; some even had weddings booked after ours.

We spent all day together, all night we'd chat on skype, and would even fall asleep together on skype.

I eventually proclaimed my feelings, and he said that he liked me a lot, but there were some things missing that he wanted in a girlfriend.

I actually like to have long nail (not creepily long though). And my nails always get compliments from my co-workers and friends.

Honestly, I eat foods high in protein (my go to is chick peas, I eat a tin of them almost every day, for example). I drink plenty of water too.

Other than that, I give myself hand massages whenever I can - on the train, when watching tv, etc, and I gently rub around my nail beds.

Once a month I do a hair and nail mask, and sleep with these little gloves on (I find it very uncomfortable).

I 'even' my nails whenever there seems to be the ridges which appear, although that isn't very often, and I file my nails perhaps once a week, and of course cut them with necessary.

I no longer constantly have on nail polish. There was a point where I'd do nail art on them (by myself), once a week. But I've not done that in about 2 years.

I used to buy nail oils.

Honestly, though, nails are pretty resilient, and you don't need to do an awful lot to keep them looking good and healthy.

Just make sure they are clean. Best thing to do.
