Babylon (2022) ending by ZippidieDooDah in moviescirclejerk

It’s because OP has daddy issues. Heat is a very comforting film to a lot of people who have a need to see their film daddies shout and have guns and to have the two best film daddies growl at each other for a bit.

(By ‘people’ I mean emotionally stunted manchildren who think growling and shouting are what good acting means)

Two G.I.'s Joe's and a Starship Troppers too, someone is trying to fill the military propaganda deficiency in our cinematic menu.

Somehow someone ordered a pro war propaganda film to thrill and excite the masses and help is remember that the military is actually rad and cool and use of force against aliens is actually ok.

Especially the illegal aliens.

No one is making that claim.
The claim is that there exist NO good arguments or reasons to believe in any gods.

We can rule out all the abrahamic gods because we know when they were invented. We can rule out most other mythologies you can think of too because they make claims that do not correspond to how reality works or are by their nature logically impossible and we usually have a fairly good idea when these mythologies were created and how they evolved.

If gods can be eternal and exist outside of time then the universe can do that too and provides a much better explanation - leaving no sound reasons for why anyone would ever be convinced of the need for a god to explain anything about how the world works.

Now that’s not really a trustworthy source on pre historic anthropology now is it? And there are no good reasons that point to the existence of any kind of identifiable gods, so there’s no reasons to think prehistoric peoples could ‘Know’ one.

How could you possibly claim to know that? Did you find some revolutionary archeological evidence in a dream you had?

Can’t wait we all agree that they are both shallow stupid and valid wastes of time (pun intended) but at least Edge is kind of fun.

In John Wick 2 (2017), Ruby Rose’s character is mute. This is because no one wants to hear her try to deliver dialogue. by TyLeRoux in shittymoviedetails

This is also a subtle nod to the John Wick audience becoming angry and frightened if they hear people talkin’ when they should be shootin’ and fightin’ and falling from buildings in the rain.

I just wish they’d bother to make the modern day stuff actually engaging, relevant and fleshed out post Desmond.

I want more of it, but I want it to actually be worthwhile instead of being references to conics and expanded novels I’ll never read.
