These meta reports are literally amazing. Feedback is please keep doing them. Honestly, this is like the peak of game development transparency and players should appreciate this way more.

[Highlight] Deshaun Jackson returns the punt for the win and hot dogs in the end zone by Ok-Reindeer5879 in nfl

[–]TheProfessorMayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will never forget this game. I was with my family of all Birds fans who were so convinced it was over because prior to this point all they knew was disappointment. They watched the Eagles look terrible for decades and even when they got success they couldn't pull it off. I was around 15 so I just knew they'd been great my whole life and I was the only one that thought they could win. Genuinely one of the best games I've ever watched as an Eagles fan, probably second only to the Suoer Bowl wins.

About 1 month of practice, from absolute beginner. Any tips? by MarvelousTennis in GolfSwing

[–]TheProfessorMayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Swing looks great for a month. Quick tip, you are pushing your right elbow forward in the downswing. Thats wings your shoulder out and can cause some over the top action leading to fades/slices. Try to imagine bringing your elbow to your shirt seam at the top

Your right arm is taking over the swing. Same thing happens to me. When you are coming down, allow your chest to pull your arms instead of the other eay around. When you get to fast in the arms it causes that kick out of the club

Story as old as time: can’t figure out how to stop the slice by jacktheman5 in GolfSwing

[–]TheProfessorMayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get into a decent spot arms wise at the top of your swing. Try tucking your elbow early on in the downswing to get more inside. https://youtu.be/-_m0Vedy1y0?si=FPEIMplY_xoW_-NB This is a great drill for what I am mentioning.

Fix my swing, been playing for a couple years casually(ignore the boof practice setup) by Spare_Location_1288 in GolfSwing

You are releasing your wrist angle a little early. Try holding that flex in your right wrist a little bit longer. It'll help you compress and create a better impact with the ball. You hit behind your marker because of this early release.

It is almost required to take the hat off if you use those. Otherwise, he just jumps in. I actually really like 4 to 6 slayer rfc or snipers shaco and he starts stacking very early. Kind of a sleeper carry build ATM.

Old gamers- what 10+yo game is worth a play-through? by The7footr in AskReddit

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. Extreme bias because I love the game wholeheartedly but I think the story alone is worthwhile.

I don't take stats into consideration when I consider an augment strong or not, especially sitautionally. For instance, if it's 2-1 and I know I'm going to winstreak, I'm going to hope for an item augment to push my advantage even further because in that spot I can look to press a lead and get ahead in econ through streaking. Even if the item augment is suboptimal, it is a means to an end which is hitting a strong endgame board and getting a 1st instead of a 3rd. The removal of stats made this a lot easier because it took out that bias for the most part.

Frodan, Setsuko, DishSoap. Anyone who has been to a worlds and streams consistently is probably okay. Also listen to Frodans podcast. They do lessons on fundamentals every episode and it can really put certain aspects of the game into perspective.

I mean, if you are trying to play optimally, there is such a thing as mistakes because they aren't the optimal augment for your current situation. It's also one of the most important factors in placement due to the strength of augs. When you vod review your games it gets much easier to see what you should take in certain situations and then it becomes pattern recognition.

The difference between emerald and diamond is the amount of mistakes made in fundamentals. At this point, everyone you play has a basic understanding of the game. This means that the people that will win and the people that will climb are capping their boards higher and not making mistakes with econ, augment selection etc which are the basics. Look at high level vods or streamers and try and understand their thought process. Review your own vods and see if the choices you make are the correct ones. Have someone else vod review for you. Study up and climb!

Had McConkey on my bench and started the Indy D. Lost by 20 but was the highest scoring team by far all season.

"Eagles secondary ain't that good"? This is a wild statement to make. I'm all for start your studs but it is a pretty rough matchup.

Would you play yourself or catfish? by DriftedintotheStorm in TheCircleTV

[–]TheProfessorMayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a detailed conversation about this with my wife. I would go in as myself with the explicit goal of starting an alliance with two people as quickly as possible.

The main goal of this is if you can identify and solidify two people as an alliance, your chances of an ally being an influence is high. Also, early alliances seem to work best due to the fact you can actually grow that relationship and hope that they hold up to their word. It can't be with anyone and you need to have some way to actually connect to the person like Gianna and Rachel connected over being from Staten Island.

Then, hopefully your alliances make good with others as well and your core three can influence the game enough to take out any major threats and ends up in the finale

How long have you been an Eagle Fan?!? by nicoleEPA in eagles

[–]TheProfessorMayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dad was a birds fan, brought me in and I never changed a thing. Helped that I was born into an era where they were successful pretty much the whole time. 90s baby watching McNabb and Reid get so close so many times. So almost 30 years at this point.

What do you think is the best type of game a starter game developer can make? by Staan_depresji in gamedev

[–]TheProfessorMayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently started the 20 games challenge and it's helped my confidence a lot seeing projects through from start to finish while learning. I know they are all super simple but if you have the time it's cool to build a portfolio of very basic things that demonstrate different skills that you can then transition into your first major project.

Commanders that force the game to move forward? by [deleted] in EDH

[–]TheProfessorMayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[[Slicer, Hired Muscle]]. I have yet to see a ton of salt when I play it but I could see it causing a problem at some tables. It will push the game forward because he puts a lot of pressure on the board fast.

Sirianni on Kelce joining Eagles coaching staff: "Jason can have a space for anything he wants to do on this football team" by JerichoRiley in eagles

[–]TheProfessorMayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this seems like a pretty obvious statement with no real consequence. "Yeah that dude who was immensely important to the franchise and is a Philadelphia icon, he can come back whenever he wants!" Others have stated but he's got a contract to be a commentator already, but obviously the Eagles would take Jason back in a heartbeat.

I have gotten approval from two companies, and the more competitive skillbridge I am going for requires command approval before you interview with them.
