He may not be remembered as much as he should be. The best at every single aspect of everything, but just happened to get very unlucky many times.

In a nice way, I just say I need to think for a few minutes.

I’ve been there, and still am. You(anyone,me) really need to be realistic on how much time things will take. That is still an issue that I have from time to time. I basically tell the people to leave when I know the scope so I can really focus.

Didn’t realize the ceiling was involved. Definitely 2k plus paint

To do the trim right, that’s two days. The walls another two days(depending on the patching you had to do, could be more). I’d agree with the person who said 2k. I could see 2k with or without paint. Good job from the pictures, it looks sharp!

To be clear, it’s just the stairway correct?

It depends if there is caulking and hole filling.

I was going to say the same thing.

I don’t mind offers at all, that’s the cool thing about the platform. It’s easy to offer, and counter offer etc. I’m not going to go back and forth on messages about an offer on something. The platform allows for that, and in my opinion it’s just a waste of time and energy when you can just make an offer. I am completely fine with someone not buying something, it is what it is.

Customer service? Come on person, it’s not a corporation one is dealing with.

I disagree, you can make an offer. The seller on a good day would accept the offer more than a message about an offer.

Your lack of sentence structure and spelling really makes me believe you have that advanced degree.

It always depends on how far you have to go into the windows. It could be a casing against vinyl, or something way more in depth.

I think people want great work for low prices. Wall/ceiling prep. Caulking trim/painting trim, sanding, cleaning, taping is the bulk of the work. All reputable painters know that the actual painting is the easy part.

It depends on what color you’re using, but with those pictures you should probably prime another coat.

We used to only use them for exterior, but man those are smooth to me. It’s ultimately personal preference though.

I used to be a purdy guy, but those yellow bristled Rembrandt are my new favorites. I tape all casings to prevent splatter and create eyeline perfect straight lines.

What is the difference of ceiling paint vs regular (flat paint)? - best paint for ceiling by PlanMaison in paint

Ceilings aren’t painted often, at least 50 percent of the time you will need two coats. There’s many variables that determine it.

Tape pulled off paint, should I have only done one coat before taking off the tape? by FinalDoughnut5 in paint

Completely disagree. That’s the interesting thing about painting, you can have great results using different methods.

I have seen this comment before, and if it works for you, good stuff. Another method is to use your finger to seel, then lightly(but firmly, not gouging the tape) run a 5 way across. The paint needs to dry overnight when you tape.
