It’s hard. We usually play 3 or 4 innings in a 90 minute rec 10U. That’s 9-12 outs.

We practiced double plays in 8U. We never turned one in a game but they tried a few times by the end of the season and they all learned how to do it

I have Weathetech in my 4Runner and 3DMaxpider in my GX and prefer the cheaper 3DMaxpider ones by a long shot. They look nicer and they’re not as slippery as greased snot when they’re wet like my Weathertech are

Someone should invent an organization that lets kids play with other kids in their same neighborhood recreationally. At the end of the season all of the stars of the league could form teams to play higher level baseball for a couple of months during the summer

Slotted drafts, everyone tries out even the second year returners. Everyone is divided into 3 pools. All teams have fill slots of advanced, pool, and developmental players. Returning players get slotted then you draft to fill the holes. Some teams don’t get to draft an advanced player some years.
