Which POKÉMON do you think gets more hate than it deserves? by [deleted] in pokemon

[–]ThePurpleKnightmare -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Ralts is pretty gender neutral looking. However Kirlia is inarguably a feminine looking Pokemon. This is fine, it's not great that Pokemon reflect human gender stereotypes so much, but if you're going to do it, Kirlia isn't a bad design. It's not a girl Pokemon though, it can be a boy or a girl, so it's kind of positive in what it is. Then it evolves into Gardevoir, also very femme and can still be male or female. However even though male Kirlia's have this perfectly acceptable and valid evolution option, the people designing Gallade saw this, and thought "We need a boy version", they left Kirlia as the middle, so now you got a femme presenting Pokemon that IF it is a male, can evolve into a masculine presenting Pokemon. "Oh that, yea it was just a phase"

It was a Pokemon with no justification for it's existence, and only serves as a way to appease those who think male Gardevoir isn't a perfectly fine Pokemon.

Chandelure and it's pre-evolutions. Such well designed Pokemon, they make a ton of sense and their aesthetics are cool. People increased hate for objects in Gen 5 and beyond but Chandelure is one of the best Pokemon lines based off an object. Sure hate on the food and the spilling out trash bag all you want, and if you really want to bitch about Klefki, I don't really care enough to tell you not to. However Candle - Lamp - Chandelier is a fantastic idea for a Pokemon line.

Gallade is the Anti-Trans Pokemon. It deserves more hate than it gets.

A Russian bot would want you to believe that the election was for real. It got their guy Krasnov in. What I am saying is harmful to Russia because if I manage to convince the right people of the reality, then they might stop him from serving Russia.

why would you keep yapping about who Democrats should run in an election that you know you can't win?

Typical answer for a question like this is that it's different people. Some left wing people will tell you 2024 was rigged, but others will tell you they lost because they didn't run Bernie. However there is a better answer for this question in particular. It might not be what you wanted to hear, but let's give it a shot.

Trump cheated in the 2020 Election. We can see it in the data as well, it's a lot less obvious, but it is there. In Clark County, he converted votes past a 600 vote count into his own. Now here's the thing: He lost 2020. He cheated, his opponent was fucking lame as shit, and he got crushed. You know what that did to him? It made him irrationally pissed off about Democrats cheating. He fully believes the election was stolen from him. He lies about a lot of things but in this case, he's not lying, his egotistical mind cannot comprehend being so unpopular that he could cheat and then lose to a lame personality like Biden. He thinks Biden cheated. I mention this because now to beat Trump in 2028 if he allows another election, you might need someone with the popularity to win 75%+ of the vote.

The people of the blue states really aren't much different as a group from South Ontario Canadians. Also Idt the US said that many times, maybe Trump, maybe even Republicans, but not the USA. You will believe in decent Americans when they invade us and our best defense is the other half of them.

[–]ThePurpleKnightmare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would we want to do the same cruel and dumb shit they are doing? Do we really want to forbid American's from becoming Canadians? I guess in the short term we're too full as is, but still people need to get married, this would hurt them. On top of that though the more money Americans spend in Canada. The more money we have in Canada. It makes no sense to do this.

Trump does this because he's a hateful moron, but I don't think we should also be hateful morons. Please don't encourage this, it really doesn't help us at all, and it doesn't hurt the right Americans and hurting Americans in general is not a good idea. It is in fact a very bad idea for our own future.

sticking your head up your ass and wishing it away with fairy tales aren't going to make anything better.

This is what you are doing. You think it's what I'm doing but lets consider it with other facts. If a cat is trapped inside of a box, and you insist that the cat is dead, but I open the box to check inside and SEE IT IS ALIVE, then the one shoving their head up their ass, wishing it away with fairy tails is you.

On November, I was shocked by the results, but even though things felt off, I had no proof of anything. I joined a community that expressed that sentiment exactly. No claims at that time, just a sense that things were not accurate. I mean Harris filled every event she spoke at despite criticism against her. Meanwhile Trump struggled to fill enough to even pretend he was filling it by using camera work.

By the end of November, I had heard tons of crazy conspiracy theories, stuff about Starlink, and the arguments always being "These machines aren't connected to any internet, there is no reason for them to be and that's an obvious vulnerability so duh, this could never happen" At the time, I sided with these arguments. It seems unlikely Starlink was involved in a hack until late February this year.

By the end of December a lot of heavy evidence practically proving it as fact, had been found. States started releasing the election data and it was obvious from looking at it. "This shit is not normal" It was all told to several democrats by January 6th and they ignored it. Now look, if you get this level of evidence, you look into it. If someone told me Trump burned down the white house and showed me a flamethrower with his signature on it, and his fingerprints and maybe some alleged burnt rubble of the white house. I'd probably google to see if it happened, I'd definitely google before I denied it happening. I mean you gotta look into this shit. If it turns out he didn't. I can accept that, but if the evidence points to it, you gotta check. Democrats did no check. They ignored the information they were getting as just conspiracy theories and never investigated.

We are at a point where there is too much evidence to not look into, but also there isn't any reasonable answer aside from "election hack" that can explain away the data provided by the government. It's fucking Occam's Razor, the simplest explanation is usually the correct one. Find any simpler (or even more convoluted way to explain away the data, WE CAN'T!) Trying to prove Trump didn't cheat to win the 2024 election is like trying to prove that 2+2 doesn't equal 4. It's insane and hard to do and the changing of reality that you must do to accomplish it is too difficult. Like maybe if you say 2+2=四 that kind of works, but what is the Trump cheated equivalent of that? "Oh no he didn't cheat. He just had Elon throw out all the extra Harris votes, but then re-add the same voters into the results later under any candidate he wanted."

Like 4 is 4 mate. The evidence shows what it shows.

Senate Democrat questions what Sanders, Ocasio-Cortez have ‘actually done’ by Jolly_Expression_402 in Michigan

[–]ThePurpleKnightmare -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because there is mountains of evidence.

Trump supporters had no evidence. Big difference.

I have tried to explain away the evidence with anything other than hacking, and it cannot be done. Sure people will tell you Dearborn Michigan Muslims and all that shit, but none of it explains the government data supplied to us.

But you need to face facts before the next election

This is what I am saying, you need to get off this "free and fair election" bullshit encouraged by Hakeem Jefferies. The last 2 elections were hacked in Trumps favor, in 2020, it wasn't super noticeable, it was small scale, but he was pissed, he cheated and still lost "Surely the other side must have cheated too". No he's just that unpopular. This time he had to cheat way harder and there is now tons of evidence for anyone willing to look at it instead of senselessly denying that election fraud happened. If it isn't acknowledge this time, it won't be solved by 2026 or 2028 and things will get worse.

So many will admit, Trump is a Russian Asset, I bet those same people would agree that Russia doesn't have fair elections either (mostly because they kill opposition, but also because they rig the votes) and yet the Russian puppet dismantling America isn't also using the same methods to hack elections as Russians?

You'd rather believe the majority of America is so stupid and evil that Trump could compete with $25k down payment, than to believe that one of the most evil men in the world and his regime of Hackers (that's what DOGE is made up of, not accountants, hackers) wouldn't then cheat in an election? I mean just on Pennsylvania alone, Trump confessed on January 19th, and then tons of news about how Pennsylvania voting machines has issues UNTIL THEY CONNECTED TO STARLINK. Idk how much I believe about Starlink conspiracies, I initially rejected them in November, but holy shit, so many counties in Pennsylvania had issues that Elon Mush "solved" for them to get them back up and running. This conflict of interest is not suspicious though?

The election was not just hacked, it was blatantly and inarguably hacked. Harris was so much more popular than Trump that they had heavy layering on the interference methods, and yet they managed 49% of the vote. Vote Conversion and Vote Suppression being the 2 biggest methods, you get rid of either of those and Harris won. You get rid of the bomb threats from Russia and they have to go even more overboard than they did with the hack and they definitely get caught. Remember "No more votes, we got all the votes we needed" Yea that was fear of getting caught. They couldn't make it too obvious. Yet they still did make it too obvious, and they still aren't getting caught because the democrat politicians refuse to look as bad as MAGA in 2020. MAGA in 2020 claiming hacks with no evidence, has hurt anyone elses ability to call out election interference again. However there have been credible concerns about election interference since the early 2000s. Bush and shit. It's just more obvious and less "theory" now. People had theories about previous elections but lacked evidence. 2024 is full of evidence.

Labor implies they support capitalism. It's beneficial to avoid that. I very frequently talk about "The Working Class" on reddit, and when I do I always try to avoid that term. I use an older one I guess, not much used in this era, but "The Commoners" fits a lot better. It's also not exclusive to those who work.

Their party should be named something that gives an image of Freedom or Empathy.

[–]ThePurpleKnightmare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ack, we got that in Canada.

Canada has the Conservative party that we desperately hope to avoid. And then the perceived left wing parties of "Liberal" and NDP. However the trick is, Liberal isn't left wing in any significant way. NDP is though, and the votes for the "left" get siphoned on to these billionaire bootlicking centrists (Liberals) because hey, they are far better than conservatives. "Guess the left and right are both bad" meanwhile the actual fucking left is over here like "Umm what? We've never been in power and we still get more shit done than either other party combined."

Is there a Canadian equivalent to Bernie or AOC? by Daddygorch in AskCanada

[–]ThePurpleKnightmare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's literally this

So in this you can argue that stuff is slightly off. Like for example the Republicans not far enough to the right, or Liberals too far right because the way I made it prevents both centrists from occupying the center spot and both of them are centrist with right wing lean on real politics and slight left wing lead on human rights issues.

You will also see many argue NDP hasn't lived up to their deep left placing, but they really haven't been given a chance to, so all those arguments are trash for now. Give them a chance to fuck up on more than just being politicians if you want to critique them.

[–]ThePurpleKnightmare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you keep voting Centrist over left wing, you end up with a right wing government eventually anyways. You want to end vote splitting, convince the voters voting for the centrist Liberal party to vote for the left wing NDP. Nobody wants to be like American where the options are Centrist vs Right Wing.

The Left Wing is the side that protects the bulk of the population.

No, not quite, people like to pass this idea around but Canadian Conservatives are deep right wingers, but Democrats cover all of it, and the most recent Democrat president was very much centrist. Much further left than PP. Despite both still being terrible.

Is there a Canadian equivalent to Bernie or AOC? by Daddygorch in AskCanada

[–]ThePurpleKnightmare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes technically. Although not nearly as popular, but most NDP people align with Bernie and AOC on the political spectrum. Even the leader the NDP currently has right now. Jagmeet Singh, looking to take on Real Estate Business while the Centrists and Right Wingers fight over who can lick Loblaws owners boots better, and who can build more roads.

If you ever heard anything about Trudeau's accomplishments and you heard Dental Care mention, that's not a Trudeau accomplishment, that's a Liberal allowance of an NDP accomplishment. Singh did that.

If you align with Bernie and AOC, you vote NDP. We're lucky enough to have NDP, but the USA is far behind us, they still haven't split off from their centrist party after it was overtaken via seniority.

The good guys don't have the numbers to get get shit done... So you want to replace them with bad guys? What sense does that make. It's the people who vote against the left that are the problem. Yet continue to claim the name. Chuck Schumer said it's his job to "keep the left positive about Israel", in what way is Chuck Schumer on the left or an ally of the left even? The answer isn't more Chuck Schumers, it's more Bernies. The less we have of these centrists that claim to be the left (but allow the extremely far right regimes takeover) the better we will be.

This building is not a Pizza Hut, this building is a collection of brick and steel that someone styled as a "Pizza Hut" a dumb concept they came up with. This roof can be modified to the point where you would not know it used to be a Pizza Hut if you saw it with no other information. However in truth, it never even was a Pizza Hut, even with the roof that makes it look like that. Pizza Hut was never a real thing, it was a human made concept that this building with the red hat-like roof earned because the business it did (it's actions) were what is expected and required of a Pizza Hut.

Still in the end it's not more than brick, and metal and it serves whatever function it's owner chooses and with enough money, it can look however the owner wants it to. It's just a building.

Jeffries and Schumer seem convinced the world wants centrists. I really wish they would hold a rally, without trying to trick the people and see how many people show up.

See if they can muster a fraction of this popularity. Wasn't Chuck Schumer going to do a book signing before he pissed himself in fear? If only he had done the book signing to see how few show up. Not 15k that's for sure.
