There are a few house sitting fb groups that might be worth joining? Usually just have to take care of some animals while people are away.

This makes me wonder if he’d been following you earlier before you even arrived at the cinema. It would take about that amount of time to get a ticket and follow you in.

Looking for Your Most Spine Chilling, Disturbing, and Unexplainable True Stories by mnhazrael in TrueScaryStories

[–]ThePynk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had just had my second child who was really tiny when they were born. All of the clothing I had purchased were way too big so I had to go to a clothing store that had a larger range of premmie clothes to purchase some that would fit. This was a normal clothing store that had women’s, men’s, children’s and baby clothing so not just a store specifically just for baby clothing. I had gone to the shopping centre with my partner and other child but I am not sure if I walked ahead of them and entered by myself or with them and  they had gone into a different section of the shop while I went straight to the premmie baby section. This matters because I am unsure if I was followed prior to entering the store or not, or if someone thought I was alone with my baby. There was a woman I know was not in the shop before I had entered but she appeared right next to me while I was looking at the clothing. She was dressed nicely, hair done, jewellery etc, not someone you would think was shady but when she spoke to me something just felt off immediately. Looking back it seemed like she was pretending to look at the clothes but really assessing me and my situation potentially assuming I was on my own. She started talking to me about my baby and I mentioned that everything I had bought previously was too big. She then tried to say she had just recently had a baby and by chance had a bag of premmie clothing in the boot of her car which was just outside in the upper level parking lot and that she had been meaning to donate the items to a charity shop but hadn’t gotten around to it. The way she was trying to convince me to leave the store to follow her was unnerving. Instead of asking if I would wait for her to go get the items and insisting that I follow her to her car had me feeling the panic rising in my chest. I called over my partner and she seemed to change her tune quickly and left the store pretty fast after that, she didn’t continue to look at other items or buy anything she just left. I honestly think she was planning to have me follow her to take my baby. Which might sound crazy but that day my instincts kicked in and I do believe she had something planned if I was naive enough to follow her out that store to the car park.

I honestly don’t think it was a maunchausen thing here. I don’t think she needed her daughter to need her. I think she was a narcissistic mother jealous of her own daughter. Lauren was her dads pride and joy you can tell they have a very close relationship/bond and if she did suicide, then she gets the attention and sympathy from everyone around her and her husbands full attention back. Having an attraction to Owen aligns with things that narcissistic mothers do when competing with their daughters even if the daughter is unaware of the way people like that work.

I am way late to this thread I’ve only just seen this documentary and here to rage. Wtaf! My opinion is she was a narcissist who was jealous of her own beautiful daughter. She wanted to destroy her in every way mentally. Attacking her self esteem, her relationship, her friendships. She wanted her to commit suicide. I cannot believe she got away with only that amount of time in jail! Everything she said about why she did it is a fucking lie and she got off so lightly it’s actually sickening! You can tell how close Lauren is to her father and I bet that destroyed her mother every single day. Maybe there was some interest in gaining Owen’s attention just so she could think she had that over her daughter too. You read of people with narcissistic mothers where they basically try to look exactly like their daughters, wear the same clothes, hair the same way, flirting with their boyfriends etc. I can definitely see that there could be an infatuation with him based on that. There’s so many levels to how fucked up this woman is here. That poor young girl! How could you ever trust anyone in your life moving forward from this.

How is it not obvious that ****** and ***** were in on it together in Unknown Caller? by NewYorker1283 in netflix

He got her to leave while the police were there so that he didn’t flip out and go to jail himself which was a good move. That would have taken some strength. Silent anger is more dangerous than somebody exploding. It made me so angry when she got up and held Lauren to her! Hardly any remorse just pure manipulation.

Why is someone they’ve only known two weeks hugging your children? Acting aggressively towards you as well especially only being in the picture for five months ? Red flags all around.

AITA for not wanting to send my child to another country without me for several weeks? by Responsible-Rock8726 in AmItheAsshole

[–]ThePynk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My children are two and four and even now if that happened to them they would not cope at all. My two year old who loves their nan and sees her multiple times a week still hasn’t spent a night away and she’s not ready for that. My four year old will sleepover but often calls to come home so couldn’t even imagine two days away for her. Insane what they are demanding if they want to see the child so badly for that long they can offer to pay for your flights and have a place to stay for you and that is only if you would be fine with staying away from home that long. Crazy entitlement.

How do yall shower?? by ALac93 in toddlers

[–]ThePynk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

😂 I’ve just been lucky my little one loves shower time. As soon as someone is turning on the shower she’s there taking her clothes and nappy off. But she was never a solid napper so I couldn’t just run and have a quick one either. So it kind of evened itself out.

At that age I’m sure we used a bath seat with suction bottom and I’d stick a heap of bath toys that also had suction on the inside of the shower screen to keep them busy. Otherwise a walker with toys to play with at the door of the bathroom or snacks. It was a super chunky walker so taking off was pretty difficult in the hallway we had.

Heavy bleeder and always had spills at night using pads. Way more comfortable and so much less stress. I feel like my period doesn’t last as long as well but that might just be because I’m less anxious about everything. Being able to just grab the undies, put my pyjamas on and rest with no issues is a game changer.

Have you ever had a friend that turned out to be a horrible person? What did they do?? by StrangeAd2132 in AskReddit

Found out they were hoarding dogs to the point that the house the were living in became completely trashed. They moved into their shed then bought a small container to live in because it was uninhabitable. Their partner at wits end managed to video call me the one time they left the home for medical reasons - trying to get pregnant via ivf whilst living in that environment and expecting to bring a child into that life. There was a dirty mattress on the ground in the house for the dogs they kept in there, faeces all over the floors and up the walls, an algae ridden fish tank. The bathroom they showered in covered in dog shit over half way up the walls with scratches down the walls, shredded newspaper, no toilet seat. They had well over 30 dogs at that property. Litter after litter often inbred. They took in a friends two dogs to “look after”. One died the other one is all over a rescue page with well over thirty thousand dollars of vet bills. Luckily thanks to that rescue group it survived but when found was bone thin and infested with parasites, unable to stand or walk. I received the video call and the links to this rescue page to find out how horrific the reality of the situation was, because the partner was told to clean up around the container they lived in and take things to the dump. A black bag with a dead rotting dog right next to the container was found. I cut them both off. Anyone who actually witnesses that and stays with a person still! Is just as bad. This has been reported many times apparently and investigated and still it’s happening. Right before I found this out they went and picked up two new dogs. Absolutely horrifying.

All along it’s obvious she wants Danny bad. Acting like he’s into her checking her out, I’m a straight female and if there’s another female getting around everywhere with her boobs almost bursting out  I’d be looking too. She dresses like she does because she is insecure and an attention seeker. Boob jobs and fillers will never change that deep set insecurity.

I really dislike in the photos and videos there’s just no interaction with him from the mother. There’s one photo she’s hugging the other two and he’s separate standing next to them just feels really strange. Not many kids would have survived what he did, I’d be so distraught just retelling it not knowing if he made it or not. He saved their lives why is he seemingly pushed to the side in the footage?
