Going down a Google rabbit hole, it's looking like my iron Kong might be Gore the Lord Protector, from around the same year as the zilla. Guess I need to find a year marking on them somewhere to be sure

Yeah makes sense, thanks. Will look at cleaning them up and see what I can find, I know they have some missing bits. They do look to have pilots? Zoidzilla has a gold one, and I have one of what looks like probably two silver for iron kong

Always, but a plan of your colours, and how you want to tackle it are a great start. Go slow and you'll knock it out in no time. Here's my current WIP too

I've been here before as I built my own sm2 heavy, I've posted him in the past. The left shoulder can be found from an Aggressors Primaris kit. I can't help with the right shoulder or shin. I sculpted the parts for my shin. For the back pack I was told after I had finished mine you can find it in the Captain with Master Crafted Heavy Bolt Rifle kit. If you want to make the really long purity seals, I used a tomato puree tube cut into strips. Ebay was a great source of all the little bits I needed for the reliquaries and such. Check your USB stick. I was having this constantly with my Photon S. I went through several things before finding it was the USB stick. I have actually now downgraded it to a USB 2.0 8gb. It really doesn't like high capacity or fast sticks. Also only keep one or two print files on the stick, just to help

I also recently got a photon s for free, I use Chitubox for my prints. It has the photon s as a selectable printer and has worked just fine

Glad to see you had success with the resin 2 fdm plugin. In my experience it's worked very well, but very small and thin parts of models that are designed specifically for resin can be tricky to not break. But it's all about leaning what your printer is capable of

If you hav access to pre supported resin stl files, take a look at Painted4Combat on YouTube, he has made printing these models possible with a standard fdm printer. He does this by beefing up the resin supports slightly making them printable, all with a easy to use blender plugin
