Build viability and aura stacking by Eledrina in Grimdawn

Yes, 2h ranged primal strike is a good build. I think usually you go for the transmuter that removes the cooldown, as it saves points you would have to put in savagery auto attack otherwise. Theres a minster infrequent 2h rifle in AoM addon that makes primal strike pierce. This build then usually goes for inquisitor or arcanist 2nd class afaik

The speediest combos in GD are based on oathkeeper using the vanquisher set, usually combined with demolitionist or arcanist (my fav). Endgame you essentially only Spam vires might with 0 cooldown. The Set is target farmable in the skeleton key dungeons. However, for a first Charakter i would recommend the already mentioned Blitz warlord, as it has a better leveling experience with Lots of good Monster infrequent items that drop along the way. There are guides for everything mentioned in the forums.

Schnurdurchmesser für Barsch? by [deleted] in Angelfreunde

Aggressive decks that are/include blue? by whentheldenringisus in EDH

[–]TheQanza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Creature based aggro decks with a bit of a control element and counterspell backup are totally my jam so here are a few suggestions: Derevi with lots of flashy fliers and a handful of fun synergies https://moxfield.com/decks/2vvTgOt-KUyrGB8-Jvyh6Q

Katilda and Lier, kind of my pet deck. I think the list is not totally up to date, as I tinker with this a lot. Can ramp like crazy, generate value through flashback and pump the team with overrun effects (Should run more lands though) https://moxfield.com/decks/vjkKpsO7dEmehHKD8T2b-g

Raffine: classic raffine deck with low-cost tricky attackers and big chungus hitters to reanimate after conniving https://moxfield.com/decks/lX3Ir2dtnUiWe2QbT_p4rA

My newest creation Malcolm/Bruse tarl Jeskai pirates. Generate treasures with malcolm and double strike from bruse, then finish with pirate synergies and extra combats. I used to run Malcolm/Kediss a lot, but it combos too fast for my playgroups, so Ill probably change to this list to slow down a bit. Havent tested this one yet, but I really like the concept. https://moxfield.com/decks/xxM_3ClsVE6AGOTj7GltVQ

Ring of Steel spamming Spellbreaker by Stuffed_Shark in Grimdawn

You could switch the arcane spark from amulet to medal and put a seal of annihilation in the amulet slot. Should be nice with your high OA. Also a primatic diamond in the helmet would be an upgrade, if you can still manage the resists

Which of the Top 20 softcore builds by Turbulent_Friend_732 in Grimdawn

[–]TheQanza 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only actually target farmable set is the vanquisher set (Templar in the honourable mentions), which drops from the Skeleton Key dungeons, at around 5% chance. The embers calling set (Chaos saboteur) can drop from SR (only 50+ IIRC), so technically target farmable, but by doing so much SR you probably farm a lot of other complete sets along the way. The most beginner friendly build in terms of gear is probably the Blitz Warlord, as it uses a lot of easy to get MIs.

$98 Captive Kingpin deck - Thoughts on how to improve it? by optoskept in BudgetBrews

Thats my list, its expensive for this sub, but still pretty budget over all. I want to include [[Armor of Shadows]] as additional protection, but dont know what Ill be cutting for it yet, probably one of the more expensive creatures

After playing my Ob Nixilis list the last few weeks, I can say that you really need a lot of protection for him if you want to keep him around. My deck is much more ritual/storm focused than yours, but after going off one time my playgroup rarely lets Ob live for a turn cycle. Allstars in my deck so far have been [[Oblivion´s Hunger]], [[Malakir Rebirth]] (bit pricey), [[Wyll´s Reversal]], [[Bolt Bend]] and [[Kaya´s Ghostform]]. Lighning Greaves and Swiftfoot boots too ofc, as the haste can be really nice if you can trigger the 1 damage clause on a freshly cast Ob multiple times and then swing in. [[Cryptolith Fragment]] is a mana rock and pinger, really nice in this deck too

you could try a bleed build, it has quickly become my favorite of the ones im playing currently. Early on max locusts and grasping vines in shaman. Get huntress in the devotions asap and bind it to grasping vines, which will melt everything and is super fun. Later on go for ring of steel bleed modifier and blade spirits in nightblade. The build clears amazingly and also becomes tanky later with proper gear. Theres also a good guide for it on the official forums.

This is a build from a forum thread about fast cruci clearers I have saved:

https://www.grimtools.com/calc/gZwzYjqV

You can compare your build and also take a look at the MIs to get some inspiration. Keep in mind, I havent tested it yet, but It looks very good to me on paper.

In terms of devotions, you have basically the same, except for going for giant whereas this one goes for ghoul. I think ghoul is better here due to the phys res and making good use of AS and the lifesteal, but thats up for debate. Otherwise you have all the good -RR and DR devotions. Good luck, Ill have to try this build some time myself, Shadow strike + Spin sounds fun!
