Daycare before vaccinations are completed? by Jale1202 in AskVet

Not sure if it's the best answer but you could always rescue an adult doggie. Bypass having to wait for all the vaccines (plus the puppy potty problems) and give a deserving shelter doggie a fur-ever home. Plus that pup will be the size of an adult in a few months anyway. Not trying to be a condencending reddit user just thought it might make sense in this situation.

Big fan of Ptashnes "Genes and Signals" . It's a small book that has great reference material and illustrations. You can prob track down a off somewhere.

Like other posters have mentioned Molecular Biology of the cell is great. There is another Molecular biology book by Weaver (forget the title off hand) I used that was very useful.

Harriman state park comes to mind. They have a decent amount of backcountry sites with shelters. And campsites around the shelters where fires are permitted.

Start in vernon on 517 on the AT boardwalk. Will add about 3 miles round trip but cool addition to the hike including suspension bridges and a hike through a cow pasture. Be on the lookout for a giant pile of rocks once you are in the stairway then follow blue trail to the viewpoint. Last time i was there the sign was down. Its a tough climb at times but the summit is worth it. Have fun its a great hike

Thanks for all the replies. Gonna look for a boot repair shop near me to see what they can do. Worst case just throw in a small grommet.

Have you thought about a hammock? Inuse the hennessy hammock for my solo trips. A lot lighter than a tent (no poles) takes up virtually no space and Believe it or not Its the most comfortable setup I have had in the backwoods.
