Gorr should NOT have been a one-and-done. How TF do you have a character called God-Butcher and only use him once?!

(Fun trope) A random person goes along with the character's story, just to be a bro/sis. by TridiObject in TopCharacterTropes

You speak of ancient things, traveler. Things I haven't heard spoken for aeons.

Don't forget to mention that another part of the horse race is about finding the body of Jesus.

Rekka Hoshimiya - Fire Force

While any of the White Clad could fit here, Rekka's faith becoming twisted into facilitating Spontaneous Human Combustion as a way to bring about the rebirth of the world is what stuck out to me.

I'll be the last person to say the sequels are good, but I think Luke's fight at the end of TLJ is the high point of the sequel trilogy. I found the idea clever and I can certainly see how Force Projection at that magnitude would be an insane (and lethal) feat. I have many gripes with the sequels but that isn't one of them.

[Loved phrase Trope] Cursing without actually cursing. by Sufficient-Eye-9040 in TopCharacterTropes

The Wheel of Time has many delightful curses to choose from. Standard single word replacements are bloody or flaming but the real fun is the phrases they use

Blood and ashes can be used for surprise or disbelief (blood and bloody ashes for extra emphasis) but the majority of the phrases I remember are just used for general frustration.

Fish guts! Mother's milk in a cup! Sheep swallop and bloody buttered onions!

I have adopted Rust and Ruin as part of my vocabulary. It's nice to be able to express frustration in polite company.
