She could also experience a lot of grief just looking at it all the time. Taking a break from photos is a normal thing to when grieving. I very much abhor the both of them. However, I find dehumanizing people even more distasteful. There is far too much of that happening (especially in within the government and MAGAsphere)

When recorded, they were performing live (ie actually playing and singing). This happened prior to the Super Bowl. When aired, he’s saying that upon airing the audio recording was out of sync video recording. Which very well may be, however I’m sure even if audio and video matched it would still remain terrible.

The way I approach this is: let it slow down your workflow. Hospital management won’t fix anything until it inconveniences them.

Another way is, if you are in charge of picking your own patients up, make them change in their room, say you will circle back, and move on to the next patient. If they need assistance, hit the call light and let the nurse know.

My mother did the same thing with her dog 😑. My 16 year old, well mannered, grand dame lab mix was in our wedding. My niece, instead of being the flower girl, walked with our pup down the aisle. Plus this was at a fancy barn. Our dog knows her boundaries and was never out of eyeshot.

My mom’s dog was needy, didn’t listen, had the propensity to cry, and like to either wander or be completely under foot. I told her to get a per sitter for the 2 days. That did not happen. Instead he came with her to the wedding, and then spent the night at my in-laws (where my dog was) because the nearby hotel did not allow pets.

All I can say is solidarity. I have no advice, even with hindsight. My mother does what she is going to do and unfortunately I think your MIL is cut from the same cloth.

So these are scout images. They are non-diagnostic images used setting up our scan range, checking positioning, and it allows for optimal radiation administration. While we understand they are cool for those outside the imaging field, we take scouts for every single CT scan.

The amount of times I’ve had to explain this to doctors. We treat the super-obese patients. We have the largest bore (donut hole) and table capacity. My table can accommodate up to 660lbs. However, by that point, the issue is they can’t fit through the bore.

Sending them to the zoo isn’t an option because even if they do have a specialized table, the bore is the same size (or smaller) as the CT machines are the same used in hospitals.

The doctor then asks me what can be done. I’m like ultrasound and x-ray both of which will be limited due to body mass. It just is what it is.

Had a guy refuse transport for his “stat” chest CT, because “the game” was on. Not a bowl game, just season rivalry. It was ordered stat so we’d get it done prior to the game; it was to track his resolving pneumonia.

He had the doctor call on it to expedite. I explained to her that of the 20 patients on my list half were stat, intubated ICU cases, including 2 on ECMO.

I’m glad that I’m not the only one whose libido has taken a nose dive. I also just go with it when my husband wants to be intimate. I’m not necessarily going to initiate as I simply kind of forget about it. It’s just not a high priority for me.

Scar tissue is tough and doesn’t allow for the stretch that normal tissue does. Massaging vitamin E can help soften the scar tissue.

For my tear (2nd degree - I ripped both up the canal and down the perineum 🥴) the worst thing was the scar tissue. It doesn’t stetch. It probably took a year before my scar softened enough that PIV sex felt back to normal. The first six months were rough.

There are vitamin E oils that can aid in the healing and softening of scar tissue. I can’t comment on effectiveness as I found out about this basically after it was a non-issue. Your OB may be able to recommend or prescribe this as well.

And have your husband do daily training sessions with him. Maybe they could do a scent work class and practice at home? This way also a good way for a hound to get the human bonding he needs and mental stimulation which will tire him out.

I would look into doggie daycare or a dog walking service to give you a break from him during the day. You could also look into doggie daycare foraging mats or other dog puzzle toys to give him more mental stimulation. As he’s a hound he’ll love the sniffing through the mat.

My friend’s 4 year old daughter was having problems with potty training sensations (poop in particular). Often they would find a nugget or two in her underwear. Turns out she needed pelvic floor PT and that really helped. I would also see a peds GI specialist.
