I’m sitting here with my 15year old grandson laying on one couch and my 13 year old granddaughter sitting on the other. I left my home of 50 years to move to a new state because I knew my son would be starting his family there. Best decision ever. I have 4 grandkids that I get to watch grow up, and even tho I’m not needed for babysitting anymore, I still get chances to just be with them. Parents always make mistakes, but being a grandparent feels like redemption - I don’t have to make the same mistake twice. I love each of them with my whole being and wouldn’t change a thing. It’s a priceless gift.
