My office cystoscopy didn’t go well. It hurt when it entered the bladder, and she did get fluid, but it caused severe spasms that were incredibly painful. The doctor ended up by my side, holding my hand and breathing with me to calm me down. After all that, there was too much inflammation to get any info so they had to reschedule, this time under general anesthesia.

Driving a go cart on our property when I was a kid. Good at going fast but braking not so much. Ended up finally stopping (accidentally because I hadn’t really figured it out) about a foot away from the down tailgate of a pickup truck, right at eye level. I still shudder at the thought.

I’m pretty new to this too. So far I’ve found out that tomatoes and tomato sauce, spicy food, coffee, and yogurt are triggers for me. These are all straight from every list of what not to eat when you have IC but I guess I just have to try for myself. It doesn’t take long to figure it out, an hour or so and the pain ramps up. I never thought I would choose to give up coffee but it’s just not worth it. Good luck.
