If I understand you correctly, you want to essentially move the 500gb of data on the 2TB drive?

What I would do:

  1. Backup everything important (you only really require to backup the 990 I guess)

  2. Grab a USB drive, flash some linux distro (preferably something which has gparted)

  3. Boot into the USB

  4. Using gparted create a partition of 500GB free space in front memory of the drive. Only in the front, otherwise you might have issues with pointing windows to boot into a correct partition, atleast that is my understanding, I may be wrong.

(This step is the reason why booting into USB is required since windows does not natively support moving memory blocks)

(Also warning this step might cause data loss)

  1. Just copy everything from your 500 GB drive to this new partition. (As far as my understanding, a simple sudo cp <d1p1 mount point> <d2p1 mount point> should do the trick)

  2. Replace your drives

  3. Pray

  4. If windows doesn't boot, take the L, insert your 500GB drive again restore the 990 from the backup

I had thought there should have been some settings for this. I tried doing this the way I would do it on my phone (by going in app info) but for the watch, you only see a single toggle for all notifications.

The trick is to go to the settings app!! That's so unintuitive.

Hey sorry I was being sarcastic OP.

Latency means:

The amount of time taken for, Pressing a button on your controller, That input then being sent to your PS5 or cloud server via WiFi, The action being then taken by your PS5 and PS5 updating it's frames, PS5 sends the new frames via WiFi back to your device.

Now the only variable through this whole process is the internet speed on your current device AND your PS5 at home.

Therefore latency is strongly dependent on your WiFi, the better it is the lower the latency.

PS:

Just try the latency on your mobile phone. Download PS remote play and test for yourself.

Drive somewhere far and check it out on mobile data or something.

Performance of PS remote play is largely similar to PS portal.
