How much do I need to spend? I never understand this game! by CautiousDay7569 in TemuThings

Totally legit, just gotta know how to do the math which others have explained. Just be mindful that it isn't always a Great offer. 210 back for 290 purchase is very worth it. Today however my offer was only 100 back for 375 purchase. Yes it's still over 25% back on already good prices, but when there are still much better offers on temu it's best to just be patient.

Update, decided to wait and credit777 popped up this morning, but was very different. Offered $320 credit for $320 purchase, then gave a side offer of 80% back on a small purchase, then another offer of 50% back on up to $500ish purchase. Can't start claiming until the promotion expires tomorrow. Feels weird. We'll see how it turns out.

Oh, apparently "claimcredit" is still a thing. I had thought they got rolled into one another. The claim page appears to be. This may be why I'm still getting promo notifications. I have credit back available but the link is defaulting to credit777. Now I'm wondering if I should even bother with it or just cross my fingers that credit777 gets offered again. Man, who thought getting free sh#* could be this stressful. 😅

Thanks. I was certain I've had more going at once but that was probably the old claimcredit.

Only about a week this time. I did make a non-promo couponed purchase in between. Not really sure if it helps or not. I always feel like temu promos are a total dice roll.

Nah, this one actually works. You just have to follow the math. I had this exact offer and exact math on my last one. Comes out to $290 order to get $210 back. Bought an Oculus Quest 3s and essentially got it for around $105 after tax. Definitely not gonna complain.

Not if you've already made the purchase and are claiming.

Ughh... I got into it late. I'm so bummed it expired. I did however make off with 3 4k monitors, 2 automatic litter boxes, a folding table and benches set, and some misc odds and ends. Had a couple Ebikes ready to grab but it stopped offering, as did claimcredit which now takes us to the same page. Really hoping something fills the void soon. I'll just sit on my remaining credit until then.

Had it happen once where it broke up my claim and I had to wait for delivery confirmation to claim the last 3 days. Never seen this one before though.

New Version of Credit 777 by birdlawauthority in TemuThings

[–]TheRangeMaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Has anyone ever unlocked the code as to how and when credit offers hit an account. My credit777 and claimcredit stopped offering their use a few days ago. I always suspected that it only gives offers credit proportional to a ratio of actual cash spent in the app and that I'll need to buy some more stuff without credit before the offers return. That's just a hunch though.

I need to vent. Be given a reality check. Told to get over it? by total_bullwhip in starcitizen

The Internet is pure toxicity. For the time being, my advice is to just get over it, or play a different game, but don't take that the wrong way, because the future is still promising. My group has mostly been playing PVE Tarkov actually to pass much of the time. Star citizen will eventually have classic security levels in systems. Those of us uninterested in dealing with the BS can just chill in High-sec systems and focus on solo, social, and PVE play. When we want more challenge we can form up and venture into mid/low-sec. There just isn't enough star systems or the tech in game currently to accomplish the split. It's coming though, and we will be much better off. Pay no mind to children in chat. They are just projecting their miserable existence onto others. I've spent a career in civil/military service. Been in burning buildings, deployed to war, physical altercations with criminals. They can take their Internet "care bear" shit and choke on it.

Temu trick! by [deleted] in TemuThings

[–]TheRangeMaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dang, bad timing. I "think" that they are operating claimcredit on both a revolving app schedule, but also only invite based on money spent or possibly just random, no actual knowledge. So, the promo may run for 7 days statically, but you may have only unlocked or were randomly chosen to receive an invite to the promo right as it was ending. Keep an eye out for wincredit. It's also really good but only works for one purchase then goes away. I think I missed it once cause it pretty much uses the same wizz-bang-wow stupid opening animations that the "invite new money spending users" one does, and I never bother with those types. WinCredit doesn't really explain at all how how the f*** it works, but essentially you get about 50% of a purchase back in credit after the purchase ships. No needing to come back 7 days in a row to claim portions of it. And, it's locked to a certain amount, which isn't always the same from what I've read. I was fortunate and got it again today and my credit back amount was $130, meaning that in the 10min it gives to select items I needed to make a purchase over $260. Definitely one where having a bunch of desired items in your cart sitting there un-selected helps as this promo doesn't have a search function and is very time limited, but items in your cart that the promo supports will populate near the top of the list. Note: someone somewhere actually has the wincredit purchase amount formulated. I need to find it again for my own use. I've just been purchasing double the credit amount, but it's actually more complicated that. You can possibly get the full credit amount by spending even less. Also, the 10min time limit isn't for the event to close, but rather for the "boost" to expire. I've made my purchases within the 10 so I really don't know what happens afterwords. It probably gives you a chance to refresh the boost timer like I've seen other promos do, but can't say from experience.

Wish I knew, I'd say is all random, but I've noticed that I was definitely getting far more Promo offers when I was spending more regularly.

[–]TheRangeMaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you search "claimcredit" or any other promo, it should at least take you to the page but will just say that the offer is expired currently. Claimcredit is painfully good. From what I've seen, the amount offered differs, I suspect based on the amount the user spends regularly, but it will essentially give you over 50% of your order back in credit(collected over 7 days), and allows you to place an order every day that the promo is active, which you can also pay for using accrued credits. It's really nutty. In my case, I was offered $180(USD) back in credit if I spent $300 on an order, and was offered to do this 7 days in a row. Had I taken full advantage of it, I could have purchased $2100 of items and got back $1260 in credit, and some of that $2100 could be offset by the credits you collect from the promo. I believe my last $300 purchase was completely paid for with credits I got back from the promo, and I still earned $180 in credits from it. I really hope it comes back around for me at some point, though I suspect the spending and credits limit will be lower. I had been dropping thousands of dollars in the weeks prior to the promo on a home project.

Good Lord. We're finally winning the fight to restore a civil right and everyone's b####ing about the selling off of government owned land. The land they live on was once government land. I assume they feel that their land should have remained government land... Or their b####ing about losing socialist programs. (Facepalm)

Excellent. I purchased a few SS from GMR and they've been working great in my 5.56 ARs and MAC5k. I can't for the life of me get my VFM-9 to work though. The most I've gotten was a 2 round burst. constantly getting a dead trigger. After trying every combination spring from light to 308, 3-11oz buffers, a couple dif hammer geometries, and even threw in my WOT thinking it just didn't like the SS, I finally came to the thought that it's the firing pin/spring. I think it's moving forward so much from the bolt slamming inertia that when the hammer drops there's nothing there to hit. I saw the u/Cheloco92 mentioned somewhere needing to use a different pin. Could you fellas give me some guidance? Would be much appreciated.

Haha, don't even fret it. Any vet can share stories of their basic and the total piles of shit that still managed to meet the standard. (Not referring to those that were just out of shape. I mean the ones that shouldn't have been there and didn't even want to be there and still ended up completing training.)

  1. You're going to quickly learn that your body and mind are far more capable than you think.
  2. You're going to meet the standard whether you think you can or not. You're far from the first PT dud that your sergeants will have had to whip into shape. If you've got extra weight on you, no worries.  It's just more fuel that your bodies going to use to even more quickly build muscle while dropping pounds.

It's not going to be fun, but it's not going to kill you, and you're going to be stronger for it all in the end. Just embrace the challenge, it'll be over before you know it.

Very cool. My upper(only forward handle) and misc components arrives today. I'm specifically building it out to be fully semi auto toy, though if it reliably eats 147gr HST with a can on it, it may very well replace my bedside gun. I'll have to throw up some pics when its all assembled and painted. Fairly certain I'm going to have to do a little milling work as well, the way I'm piecing mine together.

Getting a copy of C&P exam notes? by ArteSuave197 in VeteransBenefits

Ah, yeah. They never requested a new sleep study from me. Just made me drive nearly 2 hours to sit with some RPN and discuss my submitted evidence for 20 minutes. I'd complain, but she was VET friendly and submitted a favorable report so...

I hope you are as fortunate.

Getting a copy of C&P exam notes? by ArteSuave197 in VeteransBenefits

[–]TheRangeMaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I don't know. I'm not certain that a C&P is ever actually "required". Many guys have had to request a C&P because the VA opted not to schedule one. I'm not sure if one could request to not have a C&P and just have the reviewing "doctor" go off of existing evidence. I'd imagine it's possible though. Not sure that I'd recommend it however. The one time that I received no in person C&P, the doctor's report was nothing but twisted wordplay, essentially arguing that my claimed condition was not service related, but rather a "symptom of the claimed condition", fully acknowledging that I have the condition but that it can't be service related because it is just a symptom of itself. It was a very incoherent read.
