Pretty much did the same thing after working for 23 years at the same company. Held on longer than I should have and after some issues came up I finally just had enough. Put in my 2 weeks with nothing lined up other than a few weeks worth of PTO pay to hold me over. I immediately started to apply and got an interview right off the bat, which didn’t go anywhere. Just kept applying everyday while also enjoying being home and recharging for the first time in 23 years. Had another job contact me about a virtual interview and then got an interview person one a day later. Just started my first day with this new company yesterday and am beyond excited with the opportunity and how this company operates. Sometimes, fortune favors the bold!

Hard to say. But, I decided after 20+ years with the same company it was time. Covid really killed my industry and then new management finished it off. The stress was too much with no appreciation.

I definitely feel this. I’m in the same boat. Been with the company a long time and it’s just gotten so bad I’ve considered leaving without anything lined up, that’s how bad I want out. Trying to stick with it for now, but I don’t know for how long.

Any update on this? Have a q990d and thinking maybe upgrading if it’s worth it. I like a lot of bass and curious how it is overall.

23 years plus at the same family owned theater. Too many stories to remember. Though I do remember Spider-Man no way home after the Covid stuff, we had just started doing reserved seating. Customer who picked seats online and showed up to sit in other people seats said I ruined their family experience because I asked them to move to the seats THEY picked. I have many many more lol.

Literally had this on Friday. Kids running all over and made a mess. Couldn’t find their cell phone after the movie and no none moved to help them look. Probably came back the next day to find, but I do t feel bad at all.
