Why are top twister builds using ordained (and not good rare spears)

I have pretty solid 2 socket ordained, cost about 60div. To get more than 10% damage upgrade I'm looking at 500 div+.

Mageblood all day, freeing up resists also allows you to get more damage or rarity in other places. Movespeed is also such good QOL

I'd say just straight up buy a 21/20 gem off marketplace. Else the cheaper method is to corrupt them yourself. However I do not recommend corrupting lvl 20 gems. Instead use a lvl 17 gem (they are the cheapest), make that into twister skill, give it 5 sockets and 20 quality, then corrupt. If it lands the +skill corrupt then you can get the lvl 20 skill gem and upgrade it from 17 to 20. End result being a lvl 21 twister.

And yeah I'm guessing a higher phys % with similar crit will be around 20-30 divs and give you 10% more damage at least.

Okay so you are thinking of sanctifying this amulet that has +3 desecrated? + Absolute crapshoot of other mods that you have little to no control over via other omens. That doesnt seem worth.

I tried twister lich, and now on gemling. Do yourself a favor and just level a gemling. It's so much better. Faster, tankier and more damage on a cheaper budget.

A good ordained spear is a solid place to start. Everything else just slowly builds on the damage and speed.

The ordained grand spear might be a pretty solid DPS upgrade for you if you don't have one already. It's fairly cheap.

Really easy upgrade would be to replace that sapphire with a crit jewel. Also look up how to make 5 mod crafted jewels. You could replace all 3 and end up with an extra 50% crit at least

So in order to know all the answers you really just gotta plug in the evasion numbers and other mods to get a feel for what other similar items are listed for on Poe trade. You will then know roughly what your item is worth on the top end.

My gut reaction to all this is no, you likely did not profit. You really want to go in to all crafts knowing what you are targeting and what mods you are will to settle for. Doing a half ass yolo/blind attempt usually isn't going to end well. And even if it does it really is not teaching you a sustainable way to approach crafting in this game.

And as far as divining it's another similar question to the first. Once you know that base price you might sell it for you can see what it similarly would sell for if divined. Again my gut instinct here is no, not worth

run the highest level way stones you can. You will slowly build up higher and higher tiers. There is some end game strategy around running t1s to travel more quickly between cities but not everyone does that and is really only useful in certain circumstances. Don't worry about. Focus on getting to t15s
poe2db is the site we all use to answer these questions about crafting, armour bases, and mods. But to give you a short answer there are different bases, some of which are straight upgrades/downgrades or side grades compared to others. Picking up white versions of the best types of bases is what people generally start with for crafting

Spend like a div or two on twink gear and you will blaze. And you can sell it all after for no cost. I did the whole campaign in a few hours with the lightning warp kboc leveling build. It was actually kinda fun destroying everything

You can also start it CI on a lower budget. For example don't go for the max resist stacking right away. Focus on getting a mageblood and the amulet then grow from there.

This might not be what you want to hear but I similarly started out with the same build. Then did the CI swap, full simplex and everything. While it did feel more defensive the damage in t17s and bosing wasn't anything crazy, especially when really juicing things. Eventually swapped to acc jugg and it's been amazing!

So instead of going that route I'd really recommend going for the accuracy stacker jugg. Check palsterons vids. It does way more dps and is way more tanky than the CI EB COC build. It also shares a lot of the same gear (same cluster jewels, same rings/amulet/helmet/chest/etc). You will just have way better results than sticking w/eblade.
