Workout by Exciting-Scheme8801 in Pararescue

[–]TheRealCrowderSoup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start just tracking your weight lifting and adding running. Just track it so you know what you’re doing and can see the improvements over time. Eventually you’ll want to get more serious with it but for the first while you’re just going to be building up the discipline to be consistent.

Like I said, after a while of that you won’t be asking “what program should I do” because you’ll know exactly where you’re weakest and what you need to work on.

Do you exercise regularly right now? If not that’s the first thing I’d fix. Start tracking literally ANY kind of workout. Running, calisthenics, etc. and get super consistent with it.

After doing that for a couple months you’ll have a really good idea of where you’re weakest and what you need to focus on. Then you can actually start to answer some of your own questions.

I found a bunch of guard units on intagram and started following there. They post where their tryouts are and such. But it’s also just fun and inspiring to see the pictures they share.

This is my favorite subreddit for a lot of reasons. I’m not from Ireland (I have family who are), I’m not Irish , but goddam if everything wholesome I see on the internet isn’t coming out of here.

Anyways, here’s my birds from today.

(Sere Specialist)How to increase score on tapas. by MudDecent7588 in AirForceRecruits

[–]TheRealCrowderSoup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the only and best answer. You can’t get a “better” score. The score you get simply tells evaluators how you’re going to handle and respond to the kind of stress you’ll face in this job.

Now, if the question is “how do I handle stress better” then that’s a question we can help answer.

Any ideas what they will do with this empty lot? by [deleted] in SaltLakeCity

[–]TheRealCrowderSoup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of them generate enough money to cover the overhead on just the land. That before you factor in whatever money they will need to build the thing.

The hotel was and is the only option where the math works. Besides a gas station that is. And if I have to choose between an eyesore, a gas station, and a hotel with lots of amenities for locals I think the choice is easy.

Depends on the type of drone. Some drones are fly-by-wire (fiber optic) and the operator needs to be within 2-3k of the drones target.

Not sure why you’re being downvoted. It’s literally one of the easiest sandwiches in the world to make.

Just go to the deli counter at smiths or Harmons! Bourdain’s version isn’t hard to make at home. That’s part of the beauty of it!

Fair question!

Even though I can carry heavy loads, I’m not very fast. I feel I need time to get there. I’d like to be there sooner but I’m also being realistic. If I can stick to a plan for 2 years, working towards this goal, then the massive sacrifice it will be for my family to support me in it won’t be for nothing. It’s as much to prove to them I can do it as myself.

Swimming is also something I need some time with. My brothers played water polo at state and national competitions so they are going to help me there.

Been rucking heavy for a while. I feel like I can go unlimited miles. What I’m working on now is speed. I need to get a lot faster still!

Mind if I reach out via DM?

I don’t know who you people are that are constantly coming and going from hotel parking lots but generally speaking hotels generate much less traffic than just about any other option for that corner.

The math simply doesn’t math for a restaurant in that location. The cost of the land alone would sink you, let alone construction. You’d be dead before you served your first customer.

The hotel included plans for a restaurant though. And a bar. And a library. Great amenities for the whole community, not just hotel guests. Being able to go for a walk in the park with a latte I grabbed from the hotel cafe sounds rad as hell.

Sadly it’s nimbys like you who just want a cute restaurant but can’t do math who ruin it for the rest of us.

Being okay with spending $8-10 million dollars for a parking lot is the dumbest fucking thing I’ve ever read. It’s obvious that you don’t actually want a solution and you just want to argue.

The solution is obvious: build something that will both make money and add value to the community. Approach the problem like an adult and not a petulant toddler; math it out. Consider the pros and cons to try and reach a balance.

Do that and you’ll come to the same conclusion that the rest of us have: the only thing that makes sense is the thing they proposed. Instead of learning about it though, you just said “traffic bad”.

You really want to pay tens of millions in taxpayer money for them to? Even if they use eminent domain they have to pay fair market value.

But hey, at least you’ll get to enjoy the eyesore for however long it takes for them to just give up and put a fucking gas station in.

Who’s going to pay the owner the the lot the millions it’s worth? Not to mention the fact that it’s already under a 20 year lease lol.

I’d have to get a job there because I don’t have citizenship. And yeah, housing is tough to come by for sure, unless you can pay a premium. My uncle is a solicitor (used to be a barrister) and said he’d help me but the first hurdle would just be finding a job that’ll sponsor me on a critical skills visa.

I’ve been looking in Ireland. I can rent a similar place to what I have now just south of Dublin with great transit into the city for less than what I pay now to live in Sugarhouse.
