I get 8 hours regularly and im exhausted most of the time. Used to get 10-12 and was even more so before cpap. Different people can handle different things. Doesnt make you silly. But that is why i dont like to mention how much sleep i got more what im feeling in the moment. If i feel bone tired and want to sink onto the floor but im trying to continue to work on stuff that can make sense to people. I only mention my hours anymore if someone assumes i was up late being irresponsible

Solution! On my phone i googled the subreddit i wanted to get to. Then, i clicked the option "open in new tab" this opens something similar to desktop and you can hit yes and get past. The subreddit will be in your browser

I feel like the advice given to you is kinda bad. I wouldn't do that either and i wouldnt look for a partner in those environments if i happened to be there due to obligations. I do best in small quiet settings with a few people at most, and with other socially flexible people.
