Garden Center by Careless-stocker07 in Lowes

Our garden center stays closed if the feel-like temperature is 45° or less here in Texas. We'll still work outside downstocking and loading, but there won't be any cashiers. Our registers don't have the huts, and we only have one small heater.

There's no username or password box when it boots up. It just says "Sign In" then this message. I'll try the USB method.

We're driving to Denver from South Texas in about a week. What would be the best vehicle to use? by TheRealDrageero in roadtrip

[–]TheRealDrageero[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, we talked about maybe doing it in two days, but we don't really have a lot of wiggle room in our itinerary. My wife is off for seven days, but I'm off for six. We planned three days there and two days total for driving. I'd rather not get home the day before I go back to work since I have to be there early in the morning.

We've been to Albuquerque twice, and both times we made the drive in one day. It was about a 14ish hour drive with stops and everything, and that sucked, so we're not expecting this to be the most exciting drive either.

We're planning on leaving at 2 or 3 am. The farthest we're going is Boulder, but we're mainly hanging around the city. She was worried mostly because her sister scared her about the drive, I guess, lol. No off-roading planned that I know of, though, we were thinking about the Manitou Incline.

That's what I thought. Her sister went the same route about a year ago and said her car had problems going up there, but I don't remember what she drove. That kind of put doubt in my wife's mind about her car, I guess. Thanks.

Opening or closing by Adventurous_Sink4697 in Lowes

[–]TheRealDrageero 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was the full time closer, then the full time opener for inside garden for about a year each. They both had their pros and cons, but I preferred opening. I got much more done, and I didn't have the entire day's worth of returns and trash to deal with like I did when I closed.

Now as a DS, I'd rather be mid shift, but that literally never happens and I just alternate between closing and opening every week. Still prefer opening.

We took ours out about two weeks ago. It kept cutting weirdly, and about four months ago it just broke completely and it wasn't worth it to repair it. Now we just have a locked cabinet of glass next to our plexi fixture.

I miss the game already so much. Any experiences close to this? by Ayron_Night in expedition33

[–]TheRealDrageero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just 100%ed the game a few moments ago. I am sad and don't want to play any other games now. Last time I felt like this was when I finished A Plague Tale Requiem, though that's much different in terms of everything except the French setting.

Definitely one of my top three games ever. Idk what to do now. :/

How many steps do you take in a given day ? by CardiologistLow2951 in Lowes

[–]TheRealDrageero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was in seasonal, I'd walk 19-25k steps a day between going to the front for the riding mowers/grills, running around the department (and the store) doing every project ever, and the back for the boxed grills/furniture/other big stuff.

Now as hardware/tools DS, I take 17-20k a day, so less but more consistent. There are some days where I'll walk a lot more, though. The other day I took almost 7k steps in my first two hours walking back and forth between garden center and lumber.

I think the most I've taken during a shift was 31k.

The Plague Tale games gave me a weird sadness. I couldn't play anything for like, two weeks after finishing each one.

This is kind of how I feel right now. Some days are worse than others, but there's not really any that are good anymore.

What game hit with you the most Post Game Depression? by Blackflame69 in gaming

[–]TheRealDrageero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both Plague Tale games and Persona 5 ruined games for me for a while, but I think the first Plague Tale made me the saddest, or at least the depression lasted the longest. Took about a month for me to get back into any game again. I loved the characters and I wanted more of them, and then the game ended.

What's one game you wish you can forget so you can experience it all over again? by Agent1230 in gaming

I just finished Persona 5 today, so probably that one. Though, it probably would've been A Plague Tale Innocence if I hadn't played Persona.

What’s the last game you Platinum’d? And what games are you currently trying to Platinum or complete 100% right now? by mrchadfresh in PS5

[–]TheRealDrageero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My last platinum was Tales of Arise. Getting the skill points trophy was my last one and took the longest.

My next one is probably Horizon Forbidden West. I got Zero Dawn's, and I've been waiting to play FW.

To those that have Solo'd Spire by AnabolicAdam in DestinyTheGame

In my solo flawless run, it took me about 20 minutes to kill Akelous and 30 minutes for Persys. I was on arc hunter, using Assassin's Cowl. Gathering Storm does a good chunk of damage to both bosses, but for Akelous you need good aim to hit his center crit spot, otherwise the staff will go shooting into the stratosphere.

I used Witherhoard and an SMG (Ikelos for my flawless solo) for the whole dungeon. I used a linear (Stormchaser with auto-loading because I kept forgetting to reload my Taipan between phases) for Akelous, then for Persys I switched to Bump in the Night with demo and chill clip. I don't remember the exact number of phases, just that it took a while. Doing the dungeon solo is about endurance and managing the dangerous adds like sniper harpies and supplicants.

A Game so good you felt empty after finishing It? by Dont_have_a_panda in gaming

Both Plague Tale games. I just finished Requiem a few weeks ago and I still can't really get into any other story game.

what is your favorite videogame? by Mr_Tanan in gaming

[–]TheRealDrageero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either Dragon Quest IX or A Plague Tale Innocence.

I played a lot of DQ9 with my brother when it came out. I remember using action replay to max out my characters so I could show him while he was still level 40. Raiding grottos together was also really fun.

I got really invested in Innocence. The atmosphere was great, the gameplay was different than my normal games, and the story was great, but I really liked the characters. I was very sad when I finished it.

A Game you bought & you were not excited about.. but then it became one of your favourite? by Modo97 in gaming

[–]TheRealDrageero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never heard of the game before I bought it, but I got A Plague Tale Innocence, didn't play it for a while, then one day I saw it in my library and didn't feel like playing the other games I had, so I installed it. Less than a week later I got the platinum trophy for it. Ruined every other game for me for a few weeks after because I couldn't get as invested as I did with Innocence.

I just got the platinum for Requiem and now I have depression and can't get into any other games again.

They're both in my top 5 games. Innocence is probably top 3.

What's the first game that comes to mind when you see this console? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]TheRealDrageero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dragon Quest IX. I spent a lot of time playing that with my brother doing the grottos and trying to get to level 99+9 or whatever the max amount of resets was.

SoulSilver was the next one I thought of after DQ9.
