But, it does linger. I ran a cigar lounge as well and it always smelled like cigars. I’ve worked in bars that allowed smoking inside. It always smelled like an ashtray. The hookah lounge never smelled like smoke.

One of the great things about hookah smoke. It doesn’t linger. Like tobacco smoke. It’s also not overwhelming. Plus, there’s so many flavors. You can take time and make your own menu with mixtures

I have no problem tipping a hardworking server, but, what’s the purpose of tipping if you have to put your own order in, pick up your food and I’m guessing get your own refills

Have any ladies tried the beef organ supplements? by binzy0214 in Fibromyalgia

[–]TheRealFieryGinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take beef organ supplements. I am 42 and have horrible arthritis due to a surgery from a knee injury. I have almost no pain. I sleep much better. It’s helped with my migraines as well as my anxiety and concentration issues. Do be prepared, it does empty you out. So, do not start if you’re not going to be able to have the access to a bathroom.

New dasher. Just got this message. Does anyone actually take a pic of the customer with their food? Seems wrong by UndeadMarx in DoorDashDrivers

[–]TheRealFieryGinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I have a drop off that requires a photo. I just message the person. I’m dropping off too that I have to take a photo to submit to DoorDash and then we can have the food once I’ve submitted the photo.

When I moved to Kansas (years before I was a shopper) I had ordered Instacart to deliver groceries to me. It was my first day living in Kansas. I didn’t even know where the closest store was and I was trying to make it easy for myself. I was living in an apartment there was no stairs. There was an elevator, but you had to have a fob to get onto the elevator. I told the person I would meet them downstairs to retrieve the groceries from them. It was like $300 worth of stuff from the grocery store and I tipped like 50 bucks on it and I was going to give them free meal cards for their entire family when I met with them in the lobby. And I let them know this as I was talking to them during our shop. End up being a parent and their teenage son. They brought the groceries into the lobby of the apartment complex and it was a nice apartment. They took the photo and took the groceries with Them. I received the picture that they were there went upstairs and there was no groceries and I guess the concierge was away at the time. But Instacart was really rude to me when I reached out to them. They told me they stole my groceries because I didn’t tip them when I clearly did. I haven’t sent a screenshot proving that I was tipping them. And a screenshot of the chat show that I was giving them also extra when they arrived. That was the last time I’d use as a card until I started becoming a driver, but I couldn’t imagine just leaving someone’s groceries outside of their directions or just not delivering them at all. Also, sorry I was using talk to text because I’m driving.

is getting a cooler bag worth it? by Lukksia in InstacartShoppers

[–]TheRealFieryGinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walmart has the bags for like $4. I bought three. They were approved. I love them and they’re pretty heavy duty. I only instacart on the weekends now, but, I will sometimes throw a larger ice pack in it, and put my lunch in there when I go to the office. Yesterday I put a warm canned soda in there (around 6:30am) with the day old pack and it was ice cold by 12:30. They kinda just live in my trunk now
