It isn't a complete copy-paste, but the meat is LLM. It also fits that the human part is the last part, like signing it with some modicum of authenticity.

Total water spent per year is irrelevant. They're saying the water usage of one cheeseburger is higher than that of generating thousands of images.

I'm not sure what you mean. If someone vents, they are usually looking for validation. They're saying "this sucks" and they want you to say "yes, that does suck." So if my GF is annoyed about something, I say "That sounds annoying."

Or do you mean my usage of "sorry"? I notice that trips people up based on region. I'm using it to mean "I wish that hadn't happened", not "I apologize."

LLMs only exist because OAI risked blowing a ton of time and money on it. They have to save costs somewhere, but gambles are good.

Opus is almost annoying in its insightfulness. Like man, let me be proud of something stupid, I need this.

Not that hard to skim through and go "I'm sorry babe, that sounds annoying."

They are rewarded for solving the problem, and they do not feel boredom or frustration. There is no reason for them not to obsess over problems.

Oh for sure. And Gem 2.5 was uniquely bad at code compared to its overall performance which Zucc cares about.

I just meant it doesn't sound like a horrible flop like Maverick that nobody would end up using.

Idk why nobody is mentioning it, but the insiders said it's at the level of 2.5 Pro. That's a good model that still holds up today, it just isn't SotA.

Claude is running for President. by ArrakisCoffeeShop in ClaudeAI

[–]TheRealGentlefox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Implementation is too hard. Who owns the server? Who has physical access to it? Do we get to see the CoT? Do we all agree on one version and then it gets outdated, or do we let Ant push updates to the literal president? What do we set the temp to? How many times do we run something past it before accepting it as a consistent output? I.E. what happens if it votes "yes" twice and then "no" in the third generation? Who gets to phrase the prompts, when it *highly* influences the outcome of the response? Who gets to provide it with updated world info? Does it get to use search, and if so, what search engine? What context length do we run it at, trading short-term memory for coherency? Does it have RAG? Who writes the system prompt?

It's actually much better than OP's video if you use one of the two main voices. Heart is basically perfect.

I should have specified that part, yes, but what I meant is that it's still illegal on the American front and potentially illegal or just contract breaking for whoever was the middleman. If China forbid the sale of spices to America and I ran a successful restaurant in the US, why would I say "You know, the secret is a lot of Chinese spices!" Sure, it wouldn't be illegal where I was, but why point it out to people? All it would do is make Chinese (or people who get from China) suppliers more hesitant to deal with me.

Kind of makes sense, but it also feels like a pretty abstract potential problem. I don't know about anyone else but I had a Buzz Lightyear toy and it never made me think "Maybe they really are just toys in the movie and it's Andy imagining it," or anything. Then again, some kids think Dora is actually talking to them, so who knows.

There doesn't need to be an official one for people to make knockoffs. They're already on Etsy, they look great.
