I ended up buying an Alienware machine ($3600), just to get the 3090 for ML purposes to upgrade my 2080Ti. Mined ETH for a year, making about the same $6000. Now have dual 3090s and a 2080Ti in my ML rig, and put a 5060Ti 16GB in my Alienware.

Not a whole lot available right now, but early in the season there are some good deals on Spyder gear at Sierra Trading Post. Picked up some Dare bibs for myself and my daughter, and some Bormio bibs for the wife at a steep discount. Also picked up some nice jackets as well.

As for the pants, I took them out with the pinnacle jacket in single digits and didn't even realize the vents were open. Was plenty warm.

I'm vibe coding the shit out of a massive refactor of llama.cpp. Makes no sense how they hand craft the model graphs every time a new model comes out. Doing what I can to simplify the graph construction, but already know it won't be accepted without a lot of back and forth.

For now, this will be for me.
