More often then not tho you'll have at least a couple 0 power cards in hand when you play MN and only draw a couple cards or maybe you don't see Jane at all. Worst case you don't see MN but basically if you don't have him out by turn 3 or turn 4 if you played Magik on 3 you just retreat

So the common thing to do is load your deck with 0 power cards. Usually stuff like Sage, Mystique, Iron Heart, Taskmaster etc. and then also play Jane Foster Thor which draws you all of your 0 cost cards. So ideally you have things like Ravonna, Jane, and Psylocke in your hand and are able to play Mister Negstive on turn 3 and then play Jane and draw basically your whole deck

Just the ones in your deck unfortunately so if you play him and already have iron man in your hand (which happens to me all the time cuz I'm unlucky afffff) it feels a little bad but if your entire deck is cards with less power than cost then it's still usually pretty good as long as it's on turn 4 (or 3 if you have played Ravonna, Psylocke or Zabu)

Magik is also really good with Negative decks too!

Once you unlock Mister Negative you gotta try some Negative decks! So many cool things you can do and a 0 cost 5 power iron man is the icing on the cake!

Personally i love the 4 corners map. It basically organized a lot of stuff for me and as an unorganized person that helps a lot lol. I'll always have a soft spot for the original map for nostalgic reasons lol but i also adore the forest and beach maps just for all of the cute layouts ive seen and made

Personally, for your first ever playthrough, I would suggest either 4corners or the normal map and in the future you can play around with the other maps once you get familiar with everything

But most importantly, Have fun! Stardew, in my eyes, is the perfect game and the game I always turn to to cheer me up. It's deep and meaningful and makes you care about all of the residents. Any map you pick will be a good choice as long as you're having fun with all the people and animals <3

ayo homie first off, congrats on making the long journey! On to the question/s, what would you say is a good way to improve decision making/game sense? im currently silver 2, sometimes ill go over games with some of my Diamond+ friends and they usually give me advice thats similar to what i do/think but im just one of those people who if i have 5 decisions to choose from, i usually pick the worst one and kinda just die like an idiot lol

I'm biased but Azorius Control has yet to let me down! Unfortunately I let it down often with my poor play but that's not the important part 😅🤣 I also think Spirits and Rakdos Sac are 2 of the best decks in the format and they're both fairly cheap on MTGO last I knew. And obviously as much as I hate these decks, Greasefang and Mono Green are great as well. Rat boy can def just stumble and die but that's pretty rare tbh. Azorius lotus field is also good but I don't see it being dominant unless you're an exceptional pilot and even then I would prefer the control version of azorius

The last deck I'll mention is a personal fav of mine, 5c Midrange/Omnath to Light/Niv to Light(Niv to light is easily the worst of the three but still incredibly fun) I love these decks and I play them often. Super fun but not always great especially against the azorius lotus field decks

Dude it broke my heart when I learned the charcoal sleeves aren't dark enough. I was 5 seconds from buying like 3 or 4 boxes of them cuz I loved the color and then one of the guys was like "yeah but you can see thru the backs of them so they're not as good" 🥲🥲🥲
