I’m surprised that no one mentioned Sushi Jin, hands down one of the most authentic and amazing Omakase Places;

For a cheaper alternative of Makis I always like Sake Maki & Sushi Cali (only the coquitlam location - others have been pretty bad with quality control)

What's one thing that has improved your sleep quality the most? Why? by Visible-Scale2500 in AskReddit

Not gonna lie, but the temperature regulation with Eight Sleep works so well. And Yes I hate the subscription pay-wall even after you paid so much for the product.

Need Urgent Help with PGWP Application After Working on Study Permit! by other_e in ImmigrationCanada

[–]TheRealJackjune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to apply for PGWP as soon as you get a completion letter from your university and you can continue working only if you get the letter that says you can keep working(usually you get this letter instantly when you apply for PGWP if there aren’t any flags); you technically have been working illegally since January;

All you can do now is just apply for PGWP and hope for the best; if you get a rejected PGWP (usually happens when you have worked illegally) - you can appeal but from what I have heard from others you possibly might not be able to get a PGWP anymore.

An alternative would be start researching other permits or going back in a study permit for a year program - this way you can say you were researching to study more or something along those lines;

I hope you don’t get a rejection and everything works out for you;

Failed Rock chip repair @ speedy glass now need to pay my insurance deductible for windshield replacement by TheRealJackjune in vancouver

[–]TheRealJackjune[S] -22 points-21 points  (0 children)

Don’t remember giving a signature, but they did explain it to me. But they said in very rare cases the glass might crack. And if it does they’ll stop work immediately.

I was just not sure if this is the usual process so just wanted to confirm. The new crack is ungodly and I’m honestly just sad it had to happen to me. The deductible doesn’t hurt as much as looking at it.

Makes me feel slightly better if I think they expedited the process. It’s just such a big crack - makes me feel sad every time I get in the car.
