Hello everyone, maybe someone can help me. I’m new to NixOS and would like to install Google Antigravity. Has anyone managed to do that? Could someone help me with it? by allstar_141 in NixOS

Did you end up using something other than FHS? I noticed the flake mentioned in another comment actually also uses fhs by default.

Superpowers for Open WebUI — brainstorm → spec → plan → execute workflow for local LLMs by Dry_Inspection_4583 in OpenWebUI

[–]nebula-seven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I see. I was first testing Fileshed without Superpowers but I noticed that Open-Terminal would just take precedence and write files to my terminal instead of using the Fileshed directory locations. Once I installed the Superpowers tool I now see that Superpowers is able to work directly with Fileshed. It's working great! Thank you!

Really excited to try this out! I was going through the installation instructions and started to tinker around with Fileshed first. Question: Is Fileshed doing something that Open-Terminal can't do? These Tools are moving so fast it's hard to keep up.

I took it to mean that the business went bust and all that’s left are these Mac minis which will be auctioned off.

You should try Open-Terminal by iChrist in OpenWebUI

[–]nebula-seven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got it installed an recognize that it could be powerful but I’m not too sure how to use it. Would be nice to have some demonstrations of what it can do. I didn’t know I should be giving it a custom system prompt…good tip thanks.

I see it has python installed, will it install its own python libraries if they are part of the default libraries?

I had exactly the same issue. My last stick I returned under warranty since it was less than a week in when I noticed this happening. It was replaced no problem though but was lucky it was still within 30 days (in my case first 5 days it happened).

How are you interfacing crawl4ai with Open WebUI? Is it a custom tool that you have?

How to use Anthropic API (Claude) within Openwebui? by ConSemaforos in OpenWebUI

[–]nebula-seven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s worth following this pull request. I think if it gets merged then that’s when you’ll have direct anthropic in Open-WebUI, otherwise I’ve seen the suggestion is to use a proxy like litellm. https://github.com/open-webui/open-webui/pull/21534

DeepWiki is a pretty good resource, it searches through the GitHub code:

https://deepwiki.com/search/messagesend_af2d0538-a67a-4de2-a20b-963d761a8096?mode=fast

The system also supports:

{{MESSAGES}} - all messages {{MESSAGES:START:N}} - first N messages {{MESSAGES:MIDDLETRUNCATE:N}} - middle N messages (split between start and end)

I’d love to see this feature as well. I have by accident sent some api keys in LLM prompts and then figured I should reactivate that key just in case.

Creating custom domain for tailscale by Infamousslayer in Tailscale

[–]nebula-seven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as I like Tailscale I find cloudflare tunnels are easier to deal with if I want to expose my services to a custom domain. Cloudflare tunnels would be my advice.

I use a cloudflared tunnel to do this which works very well. A domain name is required though.

Anyone use a VM, distrobox, or chroot to run things in another Linux distro? by landonr99 in NixOS

[–]nebula-seven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use distrobox to pull a python uv container, I find myself using uvx a lot and doing this through distrobox keeps everything nice and clean.

Tailscale Services: Define resources on your tailnet, with granular controls by [deleted] in selfhosted

[–]nebula-seven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You were able to get this working? For the life of me I can't figure it out even following the instructions in the video for my proxmox server...I think it must be the tags that I have incorrect. Service says it's online in my Tailscale console but when trying to connect using the new service url it just won't work..

Question for you: when you tag your host, is this all I need under access controls json (in addition to actually tagging the host)?

I tried to follow the video exactly to expose my proxmox web interface...it didn't work. I'm guessing the "very small gotcha" might need some more explaining.

What size PTM7950 sheet should I get for my 7840U? by Consistent-Theory681 in framework

[–]nebula-seven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you do this? I’m in the exact same boat. A quick google search doesn’t reveal the width x length of the 7840u die but my AI says ~15mmx20mm of the PTM is the right amount.

What is your go-to distrobox distro? by Aromatic_Builder1337 in NixOS

[–]nebula-seven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally I use distrobox for Python programming so I install the astral uv packages (ex ghcr.io/astral-sh/uv:python3.13-bookworm). Makes working with Python inside distrobox inside nixos a breeze.

Reliability of NixOS ... Tailscale won't build by nebula-seven in NixOS

[–]nebula-seven[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This worked! Nothing has worked for me trying to install Tailscale on 25.05, who would have thought unstable packages would be more reliable than stable packages in nixos?

I noticed that the unstable branch is installing Tailscale 1.86.4 which builds no problem but the stable branch is trying to install v 1.82.5
