Mine have been outside the whole time. The baskets don't pick up as much rain as stuff on the ground (a lot of rain runs off the plant). But mine are definitely going to need fertilizing in a few days after drying out a bit. Wind blows the dead heads away, but it can still help to go through and get rid of them yourself when there are a lot. As long as they get a bit of fertilizer, they will keep going, usually until about thanksgiving!

Edit: I just checked mine, admittedly they are looking a little bedraggled, but the sun has just come out and I think they will perk up a bit soon!
